The Tower Dungeons Blackpool ....

Anyone who reads my blog may have guessed we love Blackpool. We decided to pop over on the train for our 15th wedding anniversary over the Bank Holiday. We wanted to visit the Tower Dungeons but is was not going to be open until the 1st of September so we thought we would go next year. One of the day's we walked by and realized they had opened it a few day's earlier so we decide to make a day of it and see The Dungeons,The Tower Circus and Madam Tussauds.

My Kids, husband and myself have never been so quiet....
It was scary, jumpy, gross and funny all rolled into one...
With lots of surprises ....

Photo's ( one above and one below) taken by the Dungeons...
At £20-00 for 2 large photo's 2 double sided key rings and 4 small photo's we though this was a good price and really good quality...
....

My little girl got scared at the end and decided not to do the ride....

The Gallery : Animals...

This week over at The Gallery the theme is : Animals

With 4 children I don't have much spare time for animals.  I do love all animals but if I had to choose my favourite animals are dogs,I love them and like how they show you unconditional love back. Maybe when my kids are older I may have another one but until then....

This week's photo's I do have are...(and it's ok we can cheat with insects  if we don't have any pets)

We get lots of ....

Spiders on the outside of our windows....

Ladybirds in our kitchen....

Bees in our garden....

And mice in our room...

But thankfully not real mice ....

Dont forget to pop over to The Gallery on Wednesday to see out peoples "Animal"posts.....

Whole Earth Product Review...

I have just been sent this parcel full of Whole Earth yummy products to review and as a big fan of their Peanut Butter I was really looking forward to trying the chocolate spreads.Whole Earth began as a little company with big ideas about offering more natural, healthier food over 40 years ago. They believe healthy food should not be a punishment and with natural ingredients you don't need artificial flavours.

The Whole Earth company food range now includes Peanut butter/chocolate
spreads,cereals,drinks,snacks,baked beans,ketchup and coffee alternatives.

The chocolate spread range is Dark Chocolate,Caramel and Chocolate Swirl,Milk chocolate, smooth Hazelnut and Crunchy Hazelnut.

 Dark Chocolate

100% Natural ingredients.

Dark chocolate is not something we usually eat in our family but trying to be more healthy it is something we are considering changing too. I am sure if you like dark chocolate you would love this but it's not yet something I am a really big fan of.....

 Crunchy Hazelnut

100% Natural Ingredients.

Now this is more to my liking, I love the taste of this and I could imagine the smooth hazelnut one would be even tastier

           Caramel and Chocolate swirl.

100% Natural ingredients.

Wow love this, possibly my favourite one of all. Sweet, very sweet (although still natural) just how I like it and the kids love this one too :( in fact I am starting to think maybe they like it too much as this disappears everytime I go into the kitchen.).

I love chocolate spread on...

1.) Cinnamon Raisin Bagels.

2.) Thick Uncut Bread.

3.) Digestive Biscuit.

4.) Cream Cracker.

The Peanut butter range is Original Crunchy,Original Smooth,Organic Crunchy,Organic Smooth.

I tried SunPat peanut butter a few years ago as my husband liked it as a child. However I found it far too sweet sugary and sickly. So never put it in the shopping trolley again. When I saw the new Whole Earth Peanut butter on the shelf when shopping with my husband I said "go on then we will give it a go"

Although I had know intention of trying it. After it was in our cupboard for a few days I tried a small amount on my finger and surprisingly loved it from the first taste. Tasty not too sugary it hit all the buttons, I have loved it ever since. All the family now have it and even my eldest son who is a fitness fanatic raves about the ingredients and the health benefits and calls it a "super food".

I had not tried the nutty one until this and I really think it tastes better than the smooth one.

I love peanut butter on

1.)Toast.

2.) Bread

3.) Pieces of apple.

I also made some yummy peanut butter cookies from the crunchy one this weekend....

Warm cookies...

what you need

100g Chocolate

115 g crunchy peanut butter

75g butter or margarine

100g soft brown sugar

1 egg beaten

115g self raising flour.
Method

1.) Pre-heat oven to 180c/gas 4

2.) Grease two baking trays

3.) Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water.

4.) In a different bowl mix the peanut butter ,butter and brown sugar together, then mix the egg in by using a wooden spoon, stir in the chocolate and sive the flour in and cream all the mixture together.

Place 24 spoonfuls of the mixture onto you baking trays and cook for 12 minutes or until golden brown...

Leave until cooler lovely warm or wait until fully set...

And their Organic Sparkling drinks are
 Cola,Elderflower,,Lemonade,Ginger
Cranberry and Apple & Raspberry.

We got to try the Lemonade and the Cola....

Love the taste of these and the lemonade taste very different to lemonde that I have tasted before but in a good way...

How do you eat your chocolate spread or peanut butter I love finding new things to try

As a runner I have heard a lot about peanut butter jelly or jam sandwiches being good for you..

Something I will be trying next!! mmmm

Heinz Squeeze & Stir Soup Review...

Heinz have just launched a new squeeze and stir soups and I have been sent a few to try. These soup are a great idea for people looking for a quick and easy healthy snack in a instant. With more and more of us living life on the go it can be hard to find healthy snacks to see you through the day and these soups are full of flavour and goodness.

Heinz have been around since way back in 1910 when they first launched cream of Tomato soup soup fans know

 it has to be heinz.

Minestrone soup...

No artificial colours,
flavours or preservatives.
1 of your 5 a day
Low in fat

Vegetable soup..
No artificial colours,
flavours or preservatives.
1 of your 5 a day
Low in fat

These lightweight sachet are great for carrying to about so you can always have a healthy snack with you (saying that you need to have a kettle, mug and spoon).A great idea for taking to work with you for lunch,a warming snack on a rainy day or just a healthy accompaniment to a sandwich at tea time.

Simply to use just tear the pack and squeeze the puree in your favourite mug,add just enough boiling water to cover the contents and stir thoroughly before topping up with more boiling water.Stir again and enjoy...

What I think to the squeeze and stir.

I think these packs are a really good idea as I sometimes feel like a mug of soup but don't fancy a big tin to myself. They are easy to make up and taste really nice,I also see myself buying quite a few this winter time....

The flavours that is available are Cream of Tomato,Minestrone,Mediterranean, Vegetable & Cream of Tomato with Basil.

The flavours I have been sent taste really nice but I am looking forward to trying Cream of Tomato as this is my Favourite.

Heinz squeeze & stir soups are available in major retailer from the end of July and RRP at 59p per sachet

I give this product 4/5 star rating

The Photo Gallery:World Photography Day....

Over at The Gallery this week the theme is World Photography day and we have been set a challenge to take a photo to treasure for generations to come.

As my husband was at work and my older boys were out for the day we didn't have anywhere exciting to go...

So I made up a challenge to visit 5 parks in 5 hours....

After the first one we were very hungry and popped back home for some lunch....

I was tired then and hoped they hade forgotten the challenge I had set them but no after some food they were set for the next park....

Being a hot day the parks were full so we found a few quite spots for photos...

A quick run on the track....

Asit on the park watching the ducks...

Then off to the next park....

Then at last we made it to the 5th park....

And they did it 5 parks in 5 hours...

This day we will remember for years to come ....

now lets see what everyone else did to celebrate World Photography Day over at The Gallery,,,,
