Guess It’s Back (The Snow That Is): Wellies Ready

Last year we had no snow through the whole year. Shame really as the children love to see it. Even I like to see to arrive for a few days but am equally as happy to see it go to, especially when it turns to slush and ice..

So far this year it has snowed 3 times. Once for a week over Christmas and into the new year, just for a few days a week or so later. Guess what!?! it is back again..

You can imagine how the disappointed the children was this morning as their schools were not shut today. At least they will be happy when they get home though as it has been snowing all day long…

My youngest son and I have been doing a runstreak {running at lease a mile every day since Christmas}. Even though I have been really poorly with a cold this week. Not  really looking forward to today run!!

I really thought we had seen the last of the snow for this year. It was only a few day ago the sun was shining and my mum got a picture of Mr Hedgehog sneaking out of hibernation. Hope he has gone back now and snuggled up nice warm…

We had little flurries but not much more than that! Both my littles would dearly LOVE some more snow, but I have to admit with two school runs three times a week I'm secretly pleased it hasn't arrived… yet!

It snowed this morning on my way to the station to work-it was coming down really heavily BUT it had been raining so it didn't settle, but it still made me nervous as I couldn't see properly and so I walked slowly and missed my train and then the next ones were messed up and I was late for school by 25 mins!!!!x

And we've barely had any this year! Although that may change this weekend!! I've just been in my sherpa lined boots all winter!
