Mother’s Day Treats With VQ And Bloom & Wild...

With Mother's Day just around the corner (26th March in the UK) I thought I would share this lovely gift idea with you. VQ, who specialise in DAB+ radios and Bluetooth speakers have teamed up with Bloom & Wild, a UK florist, to make a special present this Mother's Day.

VQ are offering a £20 Bloom & Wild gift voucher to customers across the UK, with every purchase of a VQ Emma Bridgewater Digital Radio. £20 will get any Mum or anyone else a bunch of flowers from their site. You could even use the voucher towards a bigger bunch!! If you like the sound of this promotion you have to be quick. You can claim your free flowers from the 13th – 26th March.

I do not expect too much for Mother's day. All I really want is to have my two eldest Son's home from Uni (fit and well!!) along with my youngest two. A perfect day, as long as I don't have to do all the cooking. Usually, they do like to spoil me. Starting with breakfast.

Cereal, toast and a nice cappuccino always goes down well. Occasionally I get really lucky and they make dinner too! Not always, though!! If they are reading.

My kids know me well, so I do usually get some flowers, chocs and treats too.

I got the chance to try out a  Retro Style Mini Radio and share my thoughts. It certainly looks the part. Fabulous with a vintage twist. There are many different designs and patterns to choose from. I picked out this Rosebee vintage flower style. It looks beautiful, going great in my kitchen.

All set up for a morning wake up call. The kids love my singing, NOT. Haha!!

I also love to have a dance around the kitchen when making dinner too.

  • Price : £89.99 (also include a Bloom & Wild £20 gift voucher to use between 13th – 26th March).

What I really love about the radio is that when you are getting fed up of listening to that 18-year-old DJ. Who thinks he is a comedian, it doubles as a Bluetooth speaker. So connect any Bluetooth device to stream your music. Spotify is my preferred choice. I like repeating the same song over and over.

How many times have I repeated Ed Sheeran's Castle On The Hill song this week, I wonder!? 😃

♯I'm on my way
Driving at ninety down those country lanes
Singing to "Tiny Dancer"
And I miss the way you make me feel, and it's real
We watched the sunset over the castle on the hill ♯

Also as it is a DAB radio you get plenty of extra stations, and it tells you the track which is currently playing. The Hubby says it picks up more Talk radio stations. How boring!! Not when I am in, music all the way for me!!

Which song would you play on repeat, time and again?

I think this radio along with some free flowers would make a lovely Mother's Day gift. The radio is gorgeous, I cannot wait to order my flowers. Watch this space, I will post a picture of my flowers once they arrive.

What do you think of my new retro mini radio?

Do you think these make a lovely Mother's Day gift?

Do you love the design of the radio I picked?
