Ice Cream Cone Day: Welcome To The Weekend Blog Hop...

Happy Ice Cream Cone Day!

Welcome back friends to this weeks 'Welcome To The Weekend Blog Hop'.

As today is Ice Cream Cone Day, I thought I would share some fun photos from our Summer holidays.

How much yummy fun!?

A selfie with my youngest Son.

I can not resist ice cream especially the quality homemade ones you buy in the ice cream shops. Yummy!

Me trying the Baliey's ice cream. It tasted delicious!!

A visit to the ice cream shop for my nieces 5th Birthday. This is her favourite shop and we all know why now!

All good fun.

Not sure my Daughter will ever be able to visit an ice cream shop again now that she has Coeliac Disease, bless her.

Fancy making some ice cream?

Here Are A few Recipe Ideas For You To Pop Into Your Cone On Ice Cream Cone Day:

Olive And Fig Ice Cream.

  2. What fun pictures, Claire! There's nothing like a really good ice cream cone. Bailey's ice cream sounds lovely. Thank you for hosting the link up. I've shared a travel post about Venice, and my yummy Pumpkin Gingerbread Muffins, inspired by a visit to the Lake District. Have a lovely weekend!

    1. Thanks April. I love homemade ice creams. I could do with buying an ice cream maker but then again it would encourage me to eat more :)

  3. Who doesn't love ice cream?! My sister owns a vintage ice cream truck business and her motto is "Smiles Guaranteed!" Because every smiles over ice cream. Have a great weekend!

  4. Yum!! Unless the ice cream has gluten in it she should be able to go still!!! Just ask for the ice cream in a cup not a cone (my local shop has GF cones now!) and make sure it's a flavor without cookies/brownie bits in it!
