Welcome To The Weekend Link Up...

Happy Friday!

Welcome To The Weekend Link Up.

Welcome To The Weekend Link Up. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have fun at this week’s blog hop.

What a miserable week! First, my Daughter was off school until Wednesday as she has had the flu since Friday, now my youngest son has got it!

I have been looking after them and washing my hands none stop as I really do not want it! That would be the last thing I need right now!

January went by so quickly and to tell you the truth I am glad it is over. A new month and a new start, well hopefully anyway. Just got to get my Son fit and well again.

Today is; Wear It Red Day! Whoo red is my favourite colour and it is such cheerful colour too. Any excuse to wear my red polka do dress, methinks!

Wear it red day is a day to help raise awareness of looking after your heart. Looking after your heart is so important and changing little things in your life like more exercise, cutting down on fat and drinking less alcohol can help improve your health. After my Dad had heart failure a few years ago, and this is something that is often on my mind.

I have been working with Caorunn Gin lately on some recipes and on Wednesday I received one of their newly designed bottles as a gift.

Apparently, I am one of the first people in the country to get my hands on one. How special does that make me feel! Warms my heart :)

I have the Spring cleaning bug lately and although I have not got around to taking pictures, I have a brand new kitchen unit that I adore, new wallpaper in the hallway and half painted stairs. Hopeful, all being well I will have finished my painting by next week to free up time to take some pictures.
