19/05 Silent Sunday...

BRRRR!!!!!!

Its so cold and miserable outside today!!

I'm seriously thinking of unpacking my jumpers and boot and hiding my Spring/Summer wear away for a while. Ive been so cold last few days and where has all this rain come from?, I think Spring eh??

Wearing my sparkly gold shoes and polka dot again, well they do make me happy and I need cheering up in this weather!! hoping it might warm up later so we can have a night out, but I cant see the weather changing yet!!

Weekend plans ~

Spend my birthday money { instead of keeping on to it!! }

School shoes shopping for my little 2 { how long do school shoes last now days? not long!!}

Try some new healthier recipes??? or maybe eat cake,,, tough decision!!

Try to drink more water and less tea {tea= biscuits!! }

Take mini me for a hair cut

Look in the hairstyle books whilst there, I so need a new style!!

Running, as usual!!

Hay ho the sun is shining, so out with my favourite dress I brought this week....

This vintage? /vintage style dress is covered in my favourite pattern ~ polka dots!! It was just laying on the floor in a pile of clothes just begging to be snapped up by me and for only £1-00.

It would be rude not to buy it wouldn't it?

I love polka dots and don't I own anything with pink polka dots on.

This dress is either vintage or home made I'm not to good at spotting vintage but is very well made, looks like new and either way I love It!!

After a morning of dressing up its now time to change back into some old clothes and get some housework done before the children are back home from school, think its a great day to take them a run down to the  swimming baths...

Who Stole All The Sunshine?

After all weekend of no stop rain later in the afternoons, plans for a night out on either Friday and Saturday for me and my husband went out the window. On Sunday my hubby decided we wasn't going to put off our night out for just me and him no longer.

The rain stopped around 7 ish so we got set on for a few hours time out,shower,changed and dressed all ready to have a night out. The last time we went into town the taxi driver told us it was no longer busy on Friday night and Sundays was the best nights out in town  nowadays!! So with this in mind we hurried off into town.

This surly wasn't the case of best night out in town on this Sunday night!!

After walking into town which was about a mile and half walk, as we had just missed a bus, we had one drink and walked home. It was so quiet with only a handful of people in Wetherspoons and no sign of anyone in any other pubs.

If we had some of the beautiful sunshine we had over the bank holiday I'm sure there would have been loads more people out.

Needless to say yesterday all was nursing 2 sore feet from all the walking in high heels. Trying again this week to get a night out hopefully, maybe a Saturday night?!!

Just deciding where to go out for the afternoon but plans are all on hold at the minute as it has just started to pour it down outside!!

I picked this dress up a few months back from Matalan in the sale for £7-00 and love it, trouble is its not been warm enough to wear it on its own yet, apart from Monday but I was wearing my maxi dress. I just need to wear it today and could not wait no longer.
 

Still have some birthday money as shopping didn't go as planned a few days ago as it rained heavy then too. It was only 6 days ago when we had some amazing weather, 2 bbq's and now I need to unpack my wellies again!! don't you just love British weather !!

 

Think a trip to Meadowhall is on the cards for this afternoon, fancy some new bright tights but not sure what colour yet?  just going to grab a quick sandwich,,,
