What I Wore : Jeans And Posh Coat...

Looking forward to packing my winter coats away soon. Not to long now but it is still a bit fresh outside!!

Last week I cleared 3 big bags of clothes out. Things I no longer wear or have not worn in years. All gone to the charity collection. Before I could change my mind and put them back away again. Nice to make room for my Spring wardrobe clothing. Going through clothes I have packed away last year and forgotten about is a bit like getting new clothes with the expense of shopping.

Black Jumper And Ripped Jeans Kinda Day...

 How cold was it yesterday!?!

I popped back up to the gym for my 2nd day of a spinning classes. I am being good!?! apart from the biscuits when I got home, and the remaining Christmas chocolates... Boy can I tell today that I have done them! 2 spinning classes in 2 days...When I have not been in a while... Love how the gym is full in January, with everyone wanting to get back into shape after Christmas. Come February it will be a lot easier to get into classes.

Thankfully I got in from my run home just before it poured it down with rain. Phew!! In the afternoon it was even trying to snow. I was so cold. Wearing a nice cosy jumper and the heat tuned up always helps...

What I wore ~

  • Black Jumper : Primark.
  • Blue Jeans : Abercrombie and Fitch.
  • Bright Pink Shoes : Primark.

You Make Your Own Luck!!

Don't you just get fed up of the wind and the rain!?! Dark days and wrapping up warm!?! So glad to have our new heating plumbed in and on heat on full blast as I type. It is a day for warm boots, hats scarf's and cosy socks on today, don't you think so too?

Yesterday I broke of my superstitions rules. For years my mum and grandma before this has always told me the old wives tales whenever I do something. ( my mum will be smiling nodding her head as she reads this) Like don't cut your nails on a Friday. Don't put new shoes on the table. Don'y walk under a ladder, you know what I'm saying!?!. Well my son needed his nails cut, shock on a Friday, I can't do that it's bad luck. My 18 year old son chirped in "you make your own luck Mum" and before I knew it I had whisked youngest son off into the bathroom and cut his nails. Well needs must and all that.

Now I don't think me slipping an hour later on some water from the shower and banging my toe really hard had anything to do with the old wives tails but I did cut his nails on a Friday.

For me I won't be walking under any ladders, cutting my own nails on a Friday or putting new shoes on a table but I will be making my own luck in future!! Staring by cleaning up some shower water spilt on the floor, me thinks...

Wash, Wear, Rinse, Repeat...

Wow it is really getting dark early at night now and it has turned so chilly over the last week or so. This outfit is one I have been wearing, washing and wearing over and over again. It is so warm and cosy!. I love the colour red, it is such a cheerful colour. My scarf is also full of feel good colours too, which is a pleasure to wear.

My good old Abercrombie and Fitch jeans are going the distance but they are also starting to get big, {either they are getting big or I am losing weight!! }

I know which one I prefer!!

What is your favourite feel good colour for Autumn/Winter?

Too Hot For Jumpers, Too Cold For T-shirts!!

You know when it is too hot for jumpers, and too cold for t-shirts!?!

Yes?

Well that!!

It has been so mild over the last few days, not that I'm complaining, I am really hoping the cold weather stays away until we can find someone to mend our gas boiler!!

Off to do some shopping in Nottingham at the weekend I decided to wear a nice warm jumper for the mile walk to the train station as it was a bit fresh.

Only thing is the trains/shops/shopping centres are so nice and warm...

You have to keep taking the jumper off then keep putting it on again...

Its All About The Tower..

Its All About The Tower..

Well the outfit and The Tower in this post is!!

Every year we like to go to Blackpool for a few days break. Something magical for us, about The Tower.

Who can see it first when arriving in on the train!?!

We love to take a walk around, take a sneaky peep inside The Ballroom and always always visit The Tower Circus. For years we like to see what Mooky and Mr Booo are up to!!

Have you ever visited The Tower or The Tower Circus?

I love to take lots of pictures of The Tower too...

The last few years when we have visited The Tower is still undergoing a makeover. A nice new coat of paint. I can not  imagine how hard this job would be!?!  Me being afraid of heights and all that!!

Why did I take jeans with the weather being beautiful!?!

Love the piers..

This weeks Share-in-Style ( #bloggersharingstyle ) theme over at Mis Papelicos blog hop this week is : Summer.

Today I am sharing my favourite items I have been wearing time and time again this summer holidays. Going for a casual laid back look, with all my hair tied back today I am sharing some pictures from a lazy day out in Bakewell. So many amazing flowers to see and a lovely walk around the town and up to the Church on the hill.

What I Wore And A weigh In!!

Morning...

Hope you are all well and enjoying the summer holidays?

We have been busy filling our day with fun, exercise, laughter and eating lots of yummy food when out and about. which reminds me, I have my monthly fitness test at the gym this morning!!

I wonder if the old body fat has come down? or if the chips and doughnuts on days out at the seaside over the last few weeks has made it go back up? Why I am feeling so nervous?

It is only a fit test!

Maybe because I want to improve? and get my body fat down a little, to help with my running. I find it so hard to be motivated for exercise when the children are off school though!

Do you? 1 step forward, then 1 back.

Oh well, here goes! Wish me luck!!

Bird Hat, Converse And Not Forgetting The Strawberry Sunglasses...

You know when you want to surprise someone and it goes wrong?

Well that is what kinda day we has yesterday!!

Me and the youngest two spent 2 and a half hours on a bus, for no reason!!

Well there was a reason but we missed it!!

A day we will never forget!!

What I wore

Converse - c/o JD sports
Jeans-Abercrmbie and Fitch,

Getting all dressed up and wearing jeans is not the best outfit to wear on a red hot bus journey.

Melting at the bus stop as the burning hot sun was shining down on us! Such a sun trap there. Waiting for a bus replacement, that turned up late, as the trains are not running at the minute, was not ideal. Then we got on the bus that takes us round all the houses and took 1 and a half hours instead of 40 minutes!! As the 40 minute bus pulled up behind as our bus took off..

On a day we was going to surprise hubby/dad from work.

From the start of our journey to his work it took us 2 and a half hours to get to him, to find out he had finished work and gone home.

When he picked up our messages, he was home.

So a trip back home by bus, after buying water, but thankfully we caught the quicker bus...

I found this photo when we got home from London...

Mr bird photo bombed my picture, it sure looks like I am wearing a bird hat!!
But first, let me take a selfie...
Loving these sunglasses, mini me brought last year...

2 pair of Converse my hubby picked me up in the internet sales..

A spot of up-cycling..

Hows everyone's holidays going?

Good I hope?
