What I Wore And Back To The Gym...

Hope your having a lovely Wednesday?

I have been back at the gym today after a few weeks away. First it was the school holiday keeping me from going, then last week I got a really bad cold. Today I felt like I was starting again.

Just over a mile run with my dog Mollie after the school run, felt like really hard work so I booked in 2 classes at the gym to make me exercise!!

A 45 minute body pump class and a 45 spinning class did the job!! After the bike ride home and a bar of chocolate I felt good again!

Fun In Nottingham...

Last Saturday me, hubby and two youngest children all got to meet up with our eldest Sons/ little 2's Brothers in Nottingham for the day. I think study; Uni sounds like none stop parties for the first few weeks!

Youngest of the 2, sounds like he has freshers flu, or just a little horse from all the late nights out and shouting.

It was great to get to see them, things are so quiet around here since they left. I got to hear all about what they have been up to! Well I'm sure I didn't get to know everything!!

I could not resist a quick shoe picture in the Autumn fallen leaves...

Colour : I Will Wear What I Like...

Last weekend we spent a couple of days in London.

Whisking away our two youngest along with a few clothes, we set off to the Capital to celebrate our 19th Wedding Anniversary.

We usually spend every Anniversary on a holiday to Blackpool. Where me and my Hubby first went away together. Many moons ago!! My 2 oldest boys are all grown up now doing their own thing. So it is just the 4 of us who get away together.

What I Wore : Day In London..

We walked around 8 miles {in one day} last week in London. Wow it was so cold and a little windy but we still had a great time. There is so much to see and do in in London so a 8 miles does not feel that far.

We walked through parks around the museums and a look in the shops. With a few rides on the tube chucked in for good measure. My husband told us as he tracked our miles on his new watch and my youngest 2 did great.

Favourite Five Friday..

  1. Warm fleecy lined boots. So cold, wet and windy outside. So warm boots make it that bit nicer. (*) Pavers.
  2. New cheap but cheerful make up. The colours are so bright on these dark and dull days.
  3. Rainbow drop  lights from Cable & Cotton (*). First they was in my kitchen over Christmas, now in the bedroom. They look beautiful.
  4. My new and first ever Cath Kidston dress. I have had my eye on this dress for a while and love Cath Kidston things. Thanks t my son who brought it for me.
  5. The thoughts of going to London this weekend! We never plan anything until the last minute but we may be going for the day or weekend. Then again I have woke up today with a sore throat!! Hoping I feel good tomorrow.
What are your Favourite Five Friday?

Cath Kidson Haul...

I adore Red, Polka dots, Cath Kidston, London and London buses. So this is what I brought in the sales. I got some money off my husband and son for Christmas. I wanted to buy something special this time instead of lots of silly little things I would never wear, just because they were cheap.

First choice to spend my money was on some new Irregular Choice shoes I had seen on the Internet and I was sure I would not see anything else in Meadowhall on a shopping trip out. Then you know when you want to just buy everything in the shop?

Well that happened. I was good though I put down things I did not really need and just spent my money on 3 things I really loved.

The best thing was, everything was in the sale and I picked these all up for £56.00. That is £9.00 cheaper than the dress was before Christmas... Bargains eh!?! Can not wait to go to London again now, just might wear my new red dress and polka dot bag...Or some jeans and my London bus bag..

Christmas Rudolph Jumper...

Yesterday I wore this outfit. Making the most of my Christmas jumpers! A oversized Christmas jumper {as I was rushing around to get one last minute last year and could not get my size}. Animal leggings, haha that my husband hates { you just have to wear them if your hubby hates them!?!} At least he noticed my outfit!!

I was going to go shopping but you know how life gets in the way? another day of staying inside and keeping my daughter off school until she is full recovered from her fever last week.

What I wore | Jumper : Local pop up Christmas shop | Skirt : Primark | Legging : Matalan | Slouch socks : Primark | Boots : Matalan | Bag : Cath Kidston

Do you wear what you like even if  your husband/partner does not like it?

Peacocks, Pea Hens, Park And What I Wore...

This outfit is what I wore when me and my hubby had a nice day out together in London. These pictures were taken in Holland Park. Wow it is an amazing park.

The waterfall is so beautiful. We had lots of fun watching the peacocks and taking lots of pictures of then. One made me jump/ scared/scream when I did not see him on a big wall and jumped off just behind me!!

Gave the people stat down a laugh though...

London Street Style...

We are often hoping onto a train down to London for a night away, whenever we get the chance. Lots of walking, eatting and taking photos means comfy clothes and walk-able shoes. What shoes could be better to walk the walk in other than Converse!?! 8-12 miles of walking around streets, park and shops, we clocked up on this beautiful day. Mini me  My daughter takes after me with the love of taking photos too. She can take a great selfie!! and gets very mad if we try to hurry her up and a photo does not turn out...

Dots and Skull...

Outfit~
  • T-shirt ~ Primark
  • Skirt ~ Charity shop
  • Shoes Cath Kidston

You can really tell winter is settling in now, yesterday it was so so cold. This outfit is a bit of a throw together look, trying to wear things that never get worn! Also accomplished by a chunky grey cardigan and cosy tights (just forgot to add the picture).

A week today and hopefully the children will be pleased with all the goodies Santa brings them?? I think I have already started putting weight on by already tucking into the Christmas food, drinks and treats, Oh well lots of work to lose a few pounds and training to be done in the new year!! London will not run itself!
