D.I.Y Bottle Light...

This Bacardi bottle was just too nice to throw away. I tried to throw it. But thought. What can I do to keep it? I thought of making it into a cake stand bottom!?! it was just a bit to tall. A vase!?! Yes nice idea. Just not wide enough for many flowers. A candle holder. Yes i can see this. Not got the rights size candles in to fit.

Oh yes got it. A lamp. It looks beautiful on my shelve along side some glasses. Photos do not do it justice!! Waiting to go aside some Christmas drinks now...

You will need~
  • An empty beautiful bottle { washed out and completely dry}
  • Some battery operated fairy lights {I picked mine up from Pound shop}
What to do~
  1. Simple place the fairy lights into the glass bottle.
  2. leave the battery pack outside at the back to turn the lights on and off easy.

Home Made Easter Bonnet...

My daughter has been waiting patiently over the last few weeks to wear her Easter bonnet. Pictured above she was so excited to get it made up. We decorated this hat in no time at all and then saved it until Easter for her to dress up in. Now we have lots of other crafty bit to finish off quickly today for Easter Sunday. Easter baskets, glittery eggs and Easter cakes to name just a few.

Don't you just love the pound shops? We always find something crafty and cheap in these shops. Everything above was only a pound each, the little sets of nest and the set of chicks all from the pound shops apart from the ribbon. I picked up this sweet lemon reel up from Lidl but still only £1.00 a roll.

What you need-
  • A Easter hat
  • Some ribbon
  • Little Easter chickens
  • Little Easter nest
  • Coloured feathers ( I picked ours off a fancy scarf, picked up at the £1.00 shop!)
  • Strong glue

What to do-
  • Measure a nice big length of ribbon, enough to go around the hat and to tie a nice big bow up.
  • Glue the ribbon to hold in place.
  • Leave to dry.
  • Make a pattern you like with some of the nests and chicks.
  • Glue in place.
  • Leave to dry.
  • Easy eh!!

All ready now for the Easter egg hunt tomorrow...

Refashioned : Sleeveless Jumper Upcycled...

I love these little jumpers my daughter grown out of years ago.

So I refashioned a sleeveless jumper I picked up from Primark on the sale rail last year for £1.00.

I never yet wore this jumper as I love the colour but it just needed something more.

A princess logo to remind me of my princess when she is at school!! Perfect...

Now I'm wondering where to put Minnie mouse?

Maybe on a jacket?

Up Fashioned Ruby Slipper Style Glitter Shoes...

Have I created the perfect pair of shoes?  "No"

Have I created the perfect ornament?  "yeah!!!!"

I love love love this pair of shoes, think Dorothy from The Wizard Of Oz's shoes with heels!!

But this was a pair I brought years ago from the car boot sale that don't fit....

I brought these shoes cos the were brand new, I didn't really like them but for a £1.00 and new they were a bargain.

I might have liked them , if they fit but...

I got them home but they were to small.

Stored..

For years in the garage...

Ahh "these can be my modge podge glitter shoe test pair right!!" "I thought"

Modge podge, glitter, a wilkhow tutorial and a pair of unused shoes, simple eh?

Oh and some red nail polish to change the brown bit at the toes...

Might not fit me but they look amazing on my widow, catching the sunshine and shining glitter..

Great for a photo shoots though!?!
