Kaliko Dress Review

Last week I was introduced to Kaliko, a website I had never visited before. The website owned by Jacques Vert Group is a collection of Elegant British Brands.

They say~

"We are passionate about confidently dressing the mature woman in the highest quality products that are proudly designed in Britain".

I was excited to be asked if I would like to try something from their website to wear for a special occasion.

As we often go to London for weekends away, I wanted to pick a elegant dress that is comfortable to wear when travelling down by train.

A dress that is stylish that does not crease up when travelling, figure flattering and most of all feels and looks great.

When it arrived I was pleased to find the dress, ticked all the boxes. Lovely.

Sizing~

Having been away, eating far to much over the last few weeks, with no exercise, I was worried about picking the right size. I ordered a size 10 but noticed my usual clothes getting a little tight. I was hoping it would fit me!!

No worries there. The next size up would have been far to big. The sizes are very generous. Plenty of room to move around and fits lovely. I would say it is a roomy Size 10.

Style~

This A-lined dress has the feel and style of that classic look I love. You can immediately tell that it is made with high quality fabric, with a lovely design around the waist. It feel great to wear and has a very flattering cut and line. A real quality garment. Black, with brightly coloured flowers on. It has a centre back zip and elegant short sleeves.

Perfect location?

Neon Pink Tea Dress...

Warning you might need your sunglasses on to read this post !!

Outfit~

Dress ~ Car boot sale

Shoes ~ Tesco

Belt ~ Gift

Bracelets ~ Cutey

Hay ho the sun is shining, so out with my favourite dress I brought this week....

This vintage? /vintage style dress is covered in my favourite pattern ~ polka dots!! It was just laying on the floor in a pile of clothes just begging to be snapped up by me and for only £1-00.

It would be rude not to buy it wouldn't it?

I love polka dots and don't I own anything with pink polka dots on.

This dress is either vintage or home made I'm not to good at spotting vintage but is very well made, looks like new and either way I love It!!

After a morning of dressing up its now time to change back into some old clothes and get some housework done before the children are back home from school, think its a great day to take them a run down to the  swimming baths...

Look Chic And Keep Cosy This Season With Ellos....

Look Chic And Keep Cosy This Season With Ellos.Creat this look to keep warm and fashionable this winter...

Ellos Dress, £21 in burgundy red marl is the perfect start. With a roll neck collar and figure-skimming shape, this is a flattering dress that'll also keep out the cold.

Add to this a pair of tonal tights and the Ellos Ankle Boots, £29 in grey/brown for warm feet without sacrificing on style. A chunky block heel makes these boots great for wearing with dresses or jeans for a smart look.

Layering is the best way to keep yourself toasty in cold temperatures, so the Ellos Sleeveless Cardigan, £35 in brown is a great way to add a little more warmth. This lightweight mohair-mix cardigan has a flounced hem that gives an extra bohemian touch.

Accessories are key to creating a stylish, practical ensemble: this Ellos Snood, £19 in rust brings a pop of colour to the outfit while the gold-coloured floral Ellos Brooch, £9 is perfect for adding a little feminine touch.

Sharpen up the whole look with a hard-wearing but gorgeously soft Ellos Leather Trench Coat, £149 in tan brown. A classic coat shape for winter, Ellos have updated the trench by using a golden-hued leather to create a sophisticated, stylish piece.

With this spice-toned ensemble from Ellos, you'll be warm all winter without missing out on this season's hottest looks.
