Fitness Fridays: Gone Running Back Soon

Fitness Fridays: Gone Running Back Soon

Well it has been a while since I wrote my Fitness Friday post .

3 weeks now 🙁

I have still been exercising but not as much as I would have liked to.

Running is feeling hard again but I think it maybe because –

I went all out last month and ran over 200 .

Maybe I pushed myself to hard in the first cross country and ran my fastest ever mile @7-33 pace and had to stop half way with really painful stitch and then quit because the pain was unbearable to run with.

Not been out and done much running this month as it seams to be really hard effort.Only on 73 miles for the month is a big drop from last month.

Or it could be I’m really feeling sorry for myself.

Either way I’m starting a fresh tomorrow.

Why does everything start tomorrow and not today with me!!!!

This weeks plans are:

X-training on my bike.

Get some races booked.

Here are my plans but with the kids of will I manage to get them done?

I'd say a 'step back' period from 200 miles in a month is not unwarranted 🙂 LOL… your easy week kicks my schedule's butt 😛

You're doing a great job! Now that it's not as humid, I plan to start riding my bike more. Here's my post

You really worked yourself last month, you are probably just needing a break! Don't worry too much about it. 67 miles is not bad at all! Really! I think we get used to doing so much that to do any less seems like not enough, but it is more than enough!

Sometimes you just need to take it easy for a week or two to give yourself time to recover. And even if you are feeling sorry for yourself that's OK once in a while too! 🙂 Besides, you now have a plan and are good to go – right?

You'll get back into the groove. Sounds like last month was really challenging and your body was telling you to scale back. Nice goals for the week – good luck. I'm visiting from Fitness Friday. Have a great week!
