After such a freezing cold Saturday, it felt like a dream to have it warm and sunny on Sunday. I really needed my sunglasses on as the sun was shining so brightly. My husband had a rare Sunday off work, the children was off school so a nice family day out was called for.

We had a lovely day out in Chesterfield. Sundays are the perfect day for a nice lazy walk around the shops. Not to many people around so you can shop at your own pace. We had a fun time, sight seeing, stopping for photos at the Crooked Spire, shopping and had some lunch out. We even spotted beautiful signs of Spring around the corner.
A sunny and warm day. Fun family time. Cool things to see. Yummy hot chocolate. Sunday lunch made for me makes a nice change. Spotting signs of Spring = A perfect Winters day :)
This week I'm sharing a beautiful park in Nottingham we stumbled upon a few weeks back when it they held a Arm forces day. My husband often talked about talking me on a run around the embankment, as he knew I would love it, he was so right.
Especially when we found this amazing flower garden. Whilst every where was packed with visitors we had a lovely stroll around the peaceful gardens.
Can you believe 3 weeks of the summer holidays have gone already? Still lots of time to find some more beautiful garden though. How does your garden grow?
Last week we spent 5 days at Butlins in Bognor Regis. The weather was amazing, food was delicious and manged to talk our oldest son into coming with us so it was perfect. I love taking pictures and have 100's of wonderful flowers on my camera but its so hot on the computer at the minute so here are some I snap on my phone...
So one thing left to say- Butlins Bognor Regis : How Does Your Garden Grow?
We found these beautiful purple poppies ( I have never seen purple ones before ) on a wet and rainy day when we went on a day trip to London last year.
We decided we was going home early as we were fed up of being damp and cold as it was non stop raining all day. We took a short cut short cut through a Churchyard and found it was full of wonderful flowers and magical thing to look at.
It was a perfect place to chill with lots of fun little hiding places to sit and relax. I will be trying to find this Church next time we visit London to see how lovely it looks in the sunshine...
