Snow Kids...

These is no getting-away from the snow at the moment. Back again this week, thankfully not as deep as it was on Boxing Day. When it is cold outside, it is hard work getting my children out to play but throw us snow and there is no keeping them in!!

Today I am sharing some snow fun pictures I took when we had snow a few weeks ago. I have only just got around to sharing.

A miserable week with flu, not helped by the weather, the snow at least looked nice out of the windows! I am so glad after a week of having lemsip, it is eventually going. Sorry son, eek I may have passed it on to the 2nd eldest son!!

Guess It's Back : Wellies Ready...

Last year we had no snow through the whole year. Shame really as the children love to see it. Even I like to see to arrive for a few days but am equally as happy to see it go to, especially when it turns to slush and ice..

So far this year it has snowed 3 times. Once for a week over Christmas and into the new year, just for a few days a week or so later. Guess what!?! it is back again..

You can imagine how the disappointed the children was this morning as their schools were not shut today. At least they will be happy when they get home though as it has been snowing all day long...

My youngest son and I have been doing a runstreak {running at lease a mile every day since Christmas}. Even though I have been really poorly with a cold this week. Not  really looking forward to today run!!

I really thought we had seen the last of the snow for this year. It was only a few day ago the sun was shining and my mum got a picture of Mr Hedgehog sneaking out of hibernation. Hope he has gone back now and snuggled up nice warm...

What I Wore : Snow Days...

Warning : No make up selfies!!!

How quickly a week and half changes! First no snow, then deep snow, then no snow again.

Wrapped up warm here with a t-shirt, jumper, padded waistcoat, jacket, hat, scarf, jegging and wellies on really did keep me warm and toasty. Just a shame my feet when numb where to deep snow fell into my Wellington boots! Walking up to the park in the snow to play with the youngest 2 children is not the stylist place to go but my bright red scarf made it a nice and cheerful outfit. The sale shopping was put on hold when the unexpected snow arrive...

What I Wore :

Coat : c/o Millets
Padded waistcoat : Republic
Jumper : c/o Bonmarche
Scarf :Primark
Jeggings : Lidl
Wellies : Sportsworld
Hat : Christmas present : New Look

Park Fun In The Snow!!

Park Fun In The Snow... Yes really!!

If you read any my blogs, follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook you will have seen we got lots of lovely snow on Boxing day. It was great to see the snow arrive and also great to see it go! The last few days when it turns mushy and icy is never good.

My youngest two children are getting a bit to big for the park now and are never really interested in going on the swings, but if they cant go on ... they want to!! Typical eh? This week we have been having lots of fun out in the snow and these pictures were taken the day after boxing day, when the snow was fresh and new. Since then we have had shopping trips, running, walkie talkie fun and a trip to the woods to play Nerf guns in the snow.

The Ben & Jerry’s Capture Euphoria Challenge Day 7 And #Runstreak Day 20 !!

Last day of the Ben And Jerry's #captureeuphoria challenge and we have had so much fun in the snow. After educating my kids never to make snowballs or snow angels in yellow snow we have lots of fun pictures to share. For me this one is priceless my 2 youngest having lots of fun sledging !! The smiles on there faces says it all....

To join in some fun and try to win a feature in, Ben & Jerry’s advertising in your neighbourhood upload your Instagram pictures. Today's long run planned didn't work out as well as I would have like. The snow is hard to run in and the lay in didn't help. Not having time for a drink or breakfast off I trotted for my long run. 1 mile to the gym 6 miles on the treadmill (was hard work with no music counting ever second). Then a 2 miles run home!! Leaving me having to finish at 9 miles as I was hungry and thirsty...

#runstreak day 13

Sunday was the first day of the snow, I was going to run 6 miles and go to the gym but I knew to keep my training on track for London, I had to do 13 miles. Seems like I had been out all day, 2 hours 18 minutes in total.

#runstreak day 14

With the heavy snow a 2 mile run to the gym, 45 minute tone zone class and a 2 miles run home on my easy day,as no day off on a runstreak...

#runstreak day 15
6 miles run in the snow, hard work on the slippy paths and running in the deep snow. So pleased with today's run. off now to plan some toning classes at the gym for over the next few days...
