Pavers Boot Review...

New season and new boots!!

I love Autumn it is my favourite time to exercise. Kids back at school. Not too hot and not too cold...Perfect..

Just the right weather for wearing chunky jumpers and jeans going on long family walks. Kicking all the fallen crispy leaves around in the park and what better to do this in? Some beautiful new boots...

With this in mind, a few weeks ago I got to pick some comfortable shoes or boots from Pavers to review...

It had been a good few months since I bought some boots, so not a hard choice!

I love the classics black knee length boots {and some of these were my 2nd choice!!} but this time I have opted for something different to what I would usually go for.

I picked out these blue leather ankle boots and I absolutely love them. Perfect whilst the weather is mild to dress up with bright coloured tights and flowery dresses and great for Winter with chunky jumpers and jeans.

I have been having a little dressing up session in my bedroom and they go with almost everything I own.

About Pavers in there own words~
  • We are all about comfort.
  • The business was founded by Cathy Paver in 1971 from a simple desire – the search for the comfiest pair of shoes.
  • As Cathy could not find what she was looking for in the shops she decided to source and sell her own.
  • Stepping forward in to 2014 we have 115 shops spread across the UK with a mixture of high street shops and those in outlets.
  • The main difference is the product stock held and the prices.
  • We also have a successful ecommerce website, catalogue and a new TV studio which we air programmes on our own channel Sky Guide 669.
  • Our products primarily have comfort in mind; we do have a number of ranges from heavily comfort orientated through to younger, trendier styles such as the Bellissimo range.
  • Along with our own brands we also stock the likes of Skechers, Marco Tozzi, Rieker, Piccadilly to name a few.
  • Regardless as to the brand, comfort is always important; we do what we can to source quality materials and leading innovations in comfortable yet stylish shoes.
  • We pride ourselves on providing first-rate customer service; we offer free delivery over £50 or buy online, collect in store.

What I think of the boots

I am very pleased with the boots I picked. They go with most of the Winter clothes in my wardrobe~ Reds, blues, jeans burgundy, flowered dress, bright clothes, everything I tried them on with, just perfect. They feel very comfortable and true to size. They are lovely, warm and cosy. The heel is a nice height too. Perfect for lots of days out walking. The 3 miles a day walk with my daughter to and from school will be a stylish one.

About the boots
  • Leather Ankle Boot with Faux Fur Lining.
  • An on-trend, chunky leather fashion boots.
  • Set on a robust anti-slip sole and featuring a micro-fibre textile lining that will keep your feet toasty and warm throughout the winter months.
  • The boot comes with a patterned and a plain lace so you can change the look as you wish.

Peach Blossom Spring Dress : Joe Browns Dress Review...

When we were on holiday a few weeks ago I received a email from the lovely people at Joe Browns. They asked me if I would like to style one of their beautiful and unique items of clothing from their new Autumn/ Winter range. Yes please, I love their collections ..I picked this fabulous vintage floral style Peach blossom peach spring dress. The new in range of Shangri-La and Sovereignty are beautiful and inspiring collection.

Where does the time go!?!  I can not believe we celebrated our 18 year wedding Anniversary last week. Eek 18 years have just flown by. As we had just come off our holidays we decided to leave it till last weekend to have a night to ourselves and go on a date night <3...

Luckily for me, my son took delivery of my beautiful dress when we were away. So on our date night I went out in style...

This dress looks beautiful and feels very flattering and comfortable when wearing. I teamed it up with a simple plain pair of brown wedges as the dress pattern itself is lovely and fancy. In Winter I will team it up with leggings or thick woolly tights, a chunky cardigan and long boots..

Here is my Autumn/Winter wish list in how I would style this dress up with other items from Joe Brown in cooler weather~

Brown  leggings | Peach Blossom Springs Dress | Brown leather riding boots | Mustard chunky knit cardigan | Tan X-body bag...

I am always looking for style tips too..

How would you wear this dress in cooler months to come?

Some pictures of what I wore on holiday in Blackpool last week on the blog today. How cool are the windows and the stair case in the hotel we stay in? When I go away I always pack a few different dresses but a find I love one outfit more than the others..

Or is this just because I adore polka dots!?!

This outfit got wore on a night out, to the beach and on the scooters...

Happy Sunday...

Making the most of the lazy summer holidays and looking forward to getting back into a routine again.

I can not remember the last time I went to the gym!!

With a week and half left of the holidays I think the children are secretly looking forward to school!?!

My youngest son goes off to big school!

Eek, when did he grow up!?!

Do you ever stop worrying about them!?!

After his 2 day school visit before the summer, left him going to hospital with a badly cut knee after jumping a fence.

My oldest son is now recovering well from the 2nd round of penicillin for tonsillitis after 3 weeks of summer in bed resting and not being able to eat with pain.

So lots of fun plans for the last week of the holidays~

Which involves eatting, days out and our 18th wedding Anniversary coming up in 6 days.

I am so looking forward to be going to see British Athletics today. Big thanks to Sainsbury's. We all love athletics in our house and so excited to be invited to the Birmingham Grand Prix. Watch this space later for some cool athletic news, pictures and a surprise meet and greet they have planned for me :)

Have a great week ahead everyone...

What are your plans for the last week off before school starts again?
