A New Hairstyle...

When it come to hairstyles I have had most styles going. From very short and blonde, one side long and one side short, too the long and brown styles. Without spending £100's of pound on someone to tell you which looks the best style, how else do you get to know? I asked my husband! he replied " whatever you like" I asked my kids they all answered "anything other than your grey coming through mum!!" good old kids eh!?!

Here is a flash back over the last 6 years of my Facebook profile pictures ( good old facebook eh!?! I would have forgot about some of these pictures and binned them if I had remembered!!").

Now I really fancy a change. Above photo is how it looks now. But which style to go for next? Long or short? Colour brown or blonde? Fringe or not? I am loving Sienna Millers new hairstyle but then again it always does look great...

What I Wore : Snow Days...

Warning : No make up selfies!!!

How quickly a week and half changes! First no snow, then deep snow, then no snow again.

Wrapped up warm here with a t-shirt, jumper, padded waistcoat, jacket, hat, scarf, jegging and wellies on really did keep me warm and toasty. Just a shame my feet when numb where to deep snow fell into my Wellington boots! Walking up to the park in the snow to play with the youngest 2 children is not the stylist place to go but my bright red scarf made it a nice and cheerful outfit. The sale shopping was put on hold when the unexpected snow arrive...

What I Wore :

Coat : c/o Millets
Padded waistcoat : Republic
Jumper : c/o Bonmarche
Scarf :Primark
Jeggings : Lidl
Wellies : Sportsworld
Hat : Christmas present : New Look

Where I'd Rather Be Umbrella Review...

Earlier this week I was excited to be sent a beautiful umbrella from Where I'd Rather Be to try out and review.

I love to listen to the rhythm of the falling rain hitting the windows, when it is cold outside and you are all cosy inside. I am not a fan of being caught outside in rain though! Now though if I ever am, I can be caught in style with this beautiful umbrella.

Last week I got to share all their 8 designs over on my fashion blog here. what better time to try it out, pouring with rain and windy outside. Like most people I would avoid the rain if possible, sometimes though needs must.

Not knowing which design I would be sent I was pleased to receive my favourite design ~ Life's a beach folding umbrella.

About my umbrella~

Where I'd Rather Be, offers a visually captivating collection of umbrellas so you can imaging your somewhere else. With world first 360° under canopy photo designs to help us Brits escape the wet UK winter.
  • Double layer canopy with quick dry, water repellent coating.
  • 100% electroplated steel frame and shaft.
  • Invert & revert from wind without damage.
  • Manual open/close.
  • Non-slip matte black handle with elasticised wristband.
  • Compact umbrella case
  • Umbrella height when open 57cm, folded & closed length 29cm.
  • Canopy diameter 99cm .
  • 360 design .
  • Wind resistance.
  • Quick dry.
  • Quality construction.
  • £3.99 for Express Delivery (1 to 2 business days) within UK.
  • £27.99 for the folding umbrella (the one I reviewed)
  • £29.99 for the classic umbrellas.
There is 8 designs to choose from with just one question~ Where Would You Rather Be?

The umbrella is made with really high quality material. Double layer with a lovely design on the inside and plain black material on the top. The first day I used it the wind was so bad it blew my umbrella inside out, no problem here though. I just folded it up and opened it again. Perfect and no damage, (every other umbrella this has happened to before usually breaks) Not with my Where I'd Rather Be umbrella as it is Invert & revert from wind without damage. I think this one is really going to last the distance.

I think this would make a lovely present for Christmas.
