Up-cycled : Onesie Into A Dressing Gown...

As the early mornings are started to get cooler it had me thinking of going into town to buy a new dressing gown. Mollie the Collie, ripped both mine last year when she was a pup by jumping up me first thing in a morning so I need to invest in a new one.

I was moving somethings around in the garage when I found my sons Onesie that he did not want anymore. I looked at it for a while, thinking of what to do with it? Cut it up to make a teddy for my daughter? Make a blanket for Mollie? No, nothing exciting sprang to mind so I chucked it on the charity or tip pile and left it.

The next morning I was having my extra five minutes snooze as I did not want to get got of bed early as it felt a little chilly. I diffed off into a little sleep Zzz.. I started dreaming I was up-cycling my son's Onesie into a dressing gown to keep me warm!! I woke up in a hurry and thought, what a great idea! It would also save me money having to buy a dressing gown. Bonus!!

Country Kitchen Makeover Plans..

Over the years; when I decorate a room in the house I like to complete it as fast as I can. I hate decorating and all the mess that goes with it. I like to get the whole room finished asap!!

The end result is usual looks nice, very clean, acceptable, modern and OK I suppose!!Never the WOW factor or I love it!!

I have always wanted a nice country cottage and mostly a country cottage kitchen. Can you archive this look in a modern house!?

I love the mixture of old and new.

Shabby and chic.

Modern and vintage.

Modern with a vintage twist!!

I love the thought of my kitchen being full of things on a Welsh dresser.

Baking things on shelves being in reach instead of having to get on my hands and knees to eventually find something right at the back of my cupboard.

Betta Living Design Hacks...

For the last few years, I have been planning a brand new and glitzy kitchen makeover.

The big picture is to have all my kitchen cupboards knocked out and brand new ones put in. A big American fridge, double oven, the works. I can picture it now. It will look amazing.

In reality it's not going to happen for a few more years yet.

5 Upcycle Garden Ideas..

My back garden is so dull and boring after Winter, it's not much fun walking into.

No flowers around and deep holes in the grass that Mollie has decided to dig for me!?.

I am planning a Spring makeover that won't break the bank and I can also use some things I already have in and upcycle them.

Shabby Chic Dressing Table..

I was thinking outside the box with these odd china cups and saucers that I had stored in the kitchen cupboard. Until now had nowhere to put them or  any use for. I love to see vintage things all shabby chic-ly done up, so I was thinking what to do with these.

Stars Are Coming Out Tonight : Up-cycled!!

Another up cycle project ... love these and I am so proud of designing them, haha!
Who in the world has a pair of jeans like this eh?

Original idea I made up along the way.

My son gave me a pair of jeans, I picked him these up from Jack and Jones a few years ago in the sale, The colour was just not for him so he never wore them.

He told me to put them in the charity bag but a brand new pair of jeans that had never been wore, was just a waste... Yes!?

With my son being over 6 foot tall, the were to long for me. I love the colour, so I thought they would look good as 3/4 jeans.

Cutting them down I came up with an idea, that lead to another...
