What I Wore : Into The Green

Yeah the fog has gone, the rain has stopped and the sun is shining :)

About time too!!

With a mad busy week planned, and lots of outside adventures to do, it is lovely to see the sunshine out. Over the next few days I have a big decision to make. To do or not to do London marathon? Being injured, ill or injured over the last few months I still have only 1 14 miles run under my belt.

So do I run the marathon with my phone, enjoy it, walk, run, eat, drink, run take pictures and selfie or defer it till next year?

On well we will see.. watch this space...

Do You Still Have Dreams?

Happy Mother's day to all the mums out there, hope your all having a lovely day...

It's great being a mum and getting spoilt once a year by you kids :)

My children brought me lots of yummy chocolates, a swimming cap and goggles (for after I've eaten my choc's?) to help me learn to swim better instead of only doing breast stroke and hurting my neck..

My son is home from university for a month and I had forgotten how much he eats!! feeding 5 of us is a big shop twice a week but 6!! haha no stop shopping and filling the fridge back up...

I know he is on a mission to help me get fit, help encourage me with my running, swimming, fitness and watching my biscuit and cake obsession, who knows I could be fitter in a month!?!

Yesterday we had a lovely lazy Saturday. The little 2 did not fancy going to far away as it was lovely and warm. So off to the park we went. Taking about what the had been dreaming about my 10 year old son asked me " mum do you still have dreams?" "How old am" I replied? "I'm not to old to dream!!"

Then he asked "But what do you dream about"

Trying to think em, "our old house when you were small, my old house when I was growing up," em "I can't quite think off hand"..

Then he replied " is it posing, selfies and blogging idea?

Haha you have to laugh, err maybe son, but I can't remember??!!"

I Want To Ride My Bicycle...

I really do not feel like running at the minute. Since tiring myself out with a 14 miles run a week and half ago, I've not ran. This marathon I am training up for is really playing with my mind. Only 2 weeks on Sunday until the big day. I will be glad when it is over!!

Today my husband took me out on a bike ride, I had forgot how good it is going out on the bikes. We had a fun ride to Newstead Abbey and took some lovely picture. Wow it was lovely and warm, so it was a big shock when we came home and seen the snow falling!! luckily it only stayed 5 minutes...

Clap Along If You know What Happiness Is To You...

"It might seem crazy what I'm about to say"
"Sunshine she's here, you can take away"

Question~

What do you do when your feeling tired and unwell, it is raining, your carrying your daughters shopping bags through a busy part of London, after your son has been ages looking and buying goodies from the Arsenal shop and all your husband is doing is winding you up taking picture???

Answer~

Sing and dance in the street to the song Happy by Pharrell Williams and embarrass them all!!!

Sure did the trick...

Mother’s Day Treats With Boden...

I love polka dots, my daughter loves polka dots. We all love polka dots!!...

Anytime we see anything with polka dots on it, we shout each other to come and see!! You could say we are both polka dot mad!! With that in mind I was delighted to be asked if my daughter and myself would like to pick a treat for Mothers day from Boden.

After looking through some Mothers Day ideas, I noticed this polka dot coat for my daughter. I knew she would love it. The jacket is beautiful, warm and very cosy. It comes in 3 great colours~ strawberry split, bright green and harbour blue spot.  My daughter picked the strawberry split one straight away. We chose the 11-12 years size. It fits beautifully. (I would say it is true fit to size as this is the size I usually go for.)

Priced at (Was £34.00 to £38.00 ) on sale now (24/03/2014) at  £27.20 to £30.40

I picked a lovely Rainy day-Mac, perfect for the April showers. The famous Rainy Day Mac is updated with new spots, and they also sell it in solid colours and a sensational multi-print. These are all shower resistant too which is great. Especially with all the rain we have had the last few months. The rainy day mac is a very flattering style, a beautiful fit, which is true to size, and very high quality.

Price (Was £119.00 ) now on sale at £107.10 (24/03/2014).

We had a fun morning posing in front of the camera and my 10 year old taking our pictures. When we pose together it always involves lots of hearts being made and lots of kisses being blown... A perfect day in my book!!

Can't wait for mothers day now, I want lots of love, kisses, and to be taken out in style with my beautiful new jacket on... Possibly something else from the Boden line would be most welcome as well (hint hint) in case my hubby or children are reading!!

About this post-

Me and my daughter got to choose something for a mothers day treat. We picked these beautiful jackets. All thoughts on the jackets are my honest opinion and I was not paid for this review...

Tights ~ Primark

Don't you just love a good market?

Bargains galore?

Fashion at unbelievable low prices?

It has been years since I visited a Sunday market. I use to love them but got so carried away buying things I did not really need, want or use, just because the prices were so low. On Sunday a few weeks back when we went to London we stumbled up on Pettiecoat lane market. A nice market with loads of bargains.
Trying not to look at anything as we had to carry them all around London , I still could not help buying something. I brought 6 amazing summer dresses all priced up around £25.00 for £1.00 each. They are new, priced up, just seconds. A ll they needed was a strap sewing back on!! Even I can manage that. Can you imagine how may I would have purchased if we did not have miles to walk as we were sight seeing?

Lucky my husband had a bag on his back ...

We past a stall full of scarf's £1.00 each so i had a few of these too...

London t-shirts anyone? £2.00 each

And a fabulous little stall full of fridge magnets and soverniers £1.00 each.

Can not wait to visit again!!

Still need to find Portobello market now, never visited this one yet!!

Do you love a good Market?

Reflections In My Sunglasses...

It has been an amazing sunny day yesterday and I managed to get loads of washing done. ( Can you see the washing in my sunglasses in my garden selfie? lol)

So board doing housework we got dressed up and had a nice long walk to the train station. We had lots of fun going to Nottingham, around the shops then meeting my husband from work.

First up on our walk to the train station we played a little game. We gave each other 5 clues to guess a famous person. Me up first-
  1. He is green...
  2. He loves a pig...
  3. He has been kidnapped and a bad person in his place...
  4. We had our photo took in Meadowhall outside the pictures with him yesterday...
  5. He loves the pig so so much!!
My son chirps up I guested it... its daddy!!! What who loves a pig? gee thanks!!

Haha.. not even a clue it was Kermit the frog!!

On the train we had at run for a table, just managed to get it before 2 lads..yeah ... we won... a man on the next seat , laughed and said bad look boys...

Then all the way my kid ripped me with the jokes ~

My mums so ugly she ...

My mums so big she...

My mums so thick she...

Making lots of silly but some quite cleaver jokes up,,, all in fun, I'm sure they watch to much tv!!

With my husband having a Saturday off work today we went Shopping....Yeah...

A Quick visit to my mother-in -laws house, and a trip into Chesterfield for breakfast,  and me to buy some crafting things first.

Then off to shopping to ....Meadowhall.

Can't believe we went today, if you watched Ant and Dec's Take away show  tonight? you will have seen the super computer is going to be there on Monday giving some holiday tickets away,,,Grrr can't get Monday!!

A mad few hours around the shops, wow it is packed on Saturdays, them home for some yummy Pizza.

This time I had a plan, when it is busy, shopping with the children too and I have no plan, I end up buying nothing. So this time I had a plan, new shoes for walking miles when we go to London. Something bright, comfy and fabulous.

Converse! ...I had these in mind! After changing my mind in every shop, blue ,red, pink, light blue I ended up with these.

With 5 coloured tongues that could go with most things I own, what not to love!?!
