What I Wore : Kylie Minogue Concert...

Not last week but the week before...

Me and my hubby went to watch Kylie Minogue in concert at Nottingham.

Not only did we have an amazing night, my husband won us the tickets by entering a competition over on Twitter. So it was a free night out too.

When in Nottingham he posted a Kylie selfie with one of the stands below and tweeted Capital FM Arena (who were hosting the competition) his picture.

His first ever competition win and what an amazing prize he won us!!

I've not been to a concert for over 20 years, eek the last one was to see Prince in Sheffield...

 What to wear!?!

I wore a little black dress {wow it was warmer a few weeks ago}..

A bright coloured vest top...

And some florescent yellow converse.

My shoes caused some looks, smiles, frowns but after 4 hours standing I knew they were perfect for the night!!

What I Wore~

Dress ~ Rule1store
Vest top ~ F&F Tesco
Shoes ~ Converse

It was a great night and Kylie sang my favourite song of hers..

All The Lovers..

What is your favourite Kylie song?

When she sang 'Kids' I was hoping Robbie Williams may have been passing and made a surprise appearance!!! no such luck though...

Haha haha ha...

What, where when and who did you last go to see in concert!?!

Share-In-Style : Favourite Print....

This weeks theme over on Miss Papelicos Share-In-Style (on Mondays) blog hop is favourite print.

My favourite has to be...

 Polka Dots...

I love Polka Dots...

 My daughter love polka dots...

Even got my husband a few polka dot shirts and he wears them...

These photos were taken in the ladies powder room at a hotel we stayed in for our holidays..

My daughter loved this room and thought it was a cool place to go...

I use to own lots of polka dot dresses...

One by one they have wore away, got to big or old and tipped so I sent them to be recycled...

I even washed this one with an orange t-shirt and now has a peachy glow!!

So I'm on the hunt for a nice new red and white polka dot dress...

Any ideas?

Rainy Days And Monday Blues ..

What a horrible rainy day it has been today!?!

Very cold, wet and miserable.

No exercise for me as I was feeling sorry for myself too. After a few glasses of wine last night, this morning I woke up with a headache. {I must give up wine, it never suits me}.Feeling fed up even more now as I usually love my Monday morning exercise routines.

Oh well back on it tomorrow...

I have to adjust to this wet weather too.
Someone told me the weather man says it is staying like this for a while?
Oh no...

I need a push out the door for running on rainy days.
Especially when I have a bad head and am feeling cold.
I need to plan my days better and stick to them.

Do you plan a day ahead or just go with how you feel?

Husbands day off from work today so we went out for lunch.
Nowhere to far though just into town.
A nice meat pie chips and peas... Hot chocolate topped with fresh cream...it was so yummy.

Then it was back home in time for the school run.

Jeans ~ Selfridges

Fun At The Top Of The Blackpool Tower..

A few days I found these photos on my phone. Photos I had forgotten about. Some I took from the top of Blackpool Tower.

All the way up at the top of the Tower.

Big thing for me. Going to the top.

Being scared of heights and all.

Makes me dizzy thinking about it now.

So much so after finding these, {do you ever find photo's you forgot about?}. I had a dream about being at the top of The Tower.

At the top of the tower they have the "Walk of Faith" which is a glass floor panel. After going swimming in the day of my dream, I dreamed the first floor at the top was a swimming pool, looking down onto the road!! as I was swimming around franticly trying to get out !!

Funny things these dream eh!!

Its All About The Tower..

Its All About The Tower..

Well the outfit and The Tower in this post is!!

Every year we like to go to Blackpool for a few days break. Something magical for us, about The Tower.

Who can see it first when arriving in on the train!?!

We love to take a walk around, take a sneaky peep inside The Ballroom and always always visit The Tower Circus. For years we like to see what Mooky and Mr Booo are up to!!

Have you ever visited The Tower or The Tower Circus?

I love to take lots of pictures of The Tower too...

The last few years when we have visited The Tower is still undergoing a makeover. A nice new coat of paint. I can not  imagine how hard this job would be!?!  Me being afraid of heights and all that!!

Why did I take jeans with the weather being beautiful!?!

Love the piers..

Pavers Boot Review...

New season and new boots!!

I love Autumn it is my favourite time to exercise. Kids back at school. Not too hot and not too cold...Perfect..

Just the right weather for wearing chunky jumpers and jeans going on long family walks. Kicking all the fallen crispy leaves around in the park and what better to do this in? Some beautiful new boots...

With this in mind, a few weeks ago I got to pick some comfortable shoes or boots from Pavers to review...

It had been a good few months since I bought some boots, so not a hard choice!

I love the classics black knee length boots {and some of these were my 2nd choice!!} but this time I have opted for something different to what I would usually go for.

I picked out these blue leather ankle boots and I absolutely love them. Perfect whilst the weather is mild to dress up with bright coloured tights and flowery dresses and great for Winter with chunky jumpers and jeans.

I have been having a little dressing up session in my bedroom and they go with almost everything I own.

About Pavers in there own words~
  • We are all about comfort.
  • The business was founded by Cathy Paver in 1971 from a simple desire – the search for the comfiest pair of shoes.
  • As Cathy could not find what she was looking for in the shops she decided to source and sell her own.
  • Stepping forward in to 2014 we have 115 shops spread across the UK with a mixture of high street shops and those in outlets.
  • The main difference is the product stock held and the prices.
  • We also have a successful ecommerce website, catalogue and a new TV studio which we air programmes on our own channel Sky Guide 669.
  • Our products primarily have comfort in mind; we do have a number of ranges from heavily comfort orientated through to younger, trendier styles such as the Bellissimo range.
  • Along with our own brands we also stock the likes of Skechers, Marco Tozzi, Rieker, Piccadilly to name a few.
  • Regardless as to the brand, comfort is always important; we do what we can to source quality materials and leading innovations in comfortable yet stylish shoes.
  • We pride ourselves on providing first-rate customer service; we offer free delivery over £50 or buy online, collect in store.

What I think of the boots

I am very pleased with the boots I picked. They go with most of the Winter clothes in my wardrobe~ Reds, blues, jeans burgundy, flowered dress, bright clothes, everything I tried them on with, just perfect. They feel very comfortable and true to size. They are lovely, warm and cosy. The heel is a nice height too. Perfect for lots of days out walking. The 3 miles a day walk with my daughter to and from school will be a stylish one.

About the boots
  • Leather Ankle Boot with Faux Fur Lining.
  • An on-trend, chunky leather fashion boots.
  • Set on a robust anti-slip sole and featuring a micro-fibre textile lining that will keep your feet toasty and warm throughout the winter months.
  • The boot comes with a patterned and a plain lace so you can change the look as you wish.
