10 Things I’ve Learned From A 8 Week Old

10 Things I’ve Learned From A 8 Week Old Border Collie Puppy. Hello friends, so how are you today?

Mollie our new and adorable Border Collie puppy is definitely keeping me on my toes.

We have only had her a few days, yet it already feels like she has lived here a lot longer.

How clever are Border Collies!?!

First day we had a few toilet accidents in the house then on only day 2 she started whining to be taken outside!

Maybe because we bought her from a farmer and was used to being outside? (The Vet said farm puppies are easier to toilet train.)

10 Things I’ve Learned From A 8 Week Old Border Collie Puppy.

Bringing home an 8-week-old Sheepdog puppy is a heartwarming adventure filled with joy, laughter, and a few sleepless nights.

From toilet training challenges to cuddly moments, raising a Border Collie puppy or Sheepdog puppy teaches you more than you could imagine in just a few weeks.

Puppies bring endless love, energy, and unforgettable lessons into your daily routine.

Whether you’re considering getting a puppy for the first time or already have one bouncing around your home.

Here are 10 things I’ve learned so far from raising my 8-week-old Sheepdog puppy and why every moment is worth it.

10 Things I’ve Learned From A 8 Week Old Sheepdog Puppy

10 Things I’ve Learned From A 8 Week Old Border Collie Puppy:

Firstly, Sleepless Nights.

An 8-week-old Border Collie puppy teaches you that there are indeed two 2 o’clocks in a single day.

There is more than one 2 o’clock in a day. {Yep and two 4 o’clock and even two 6 o’clock}. Saying this I got 7 hours sleep last night!!

Owning a Border Collie puppy means adjusting to late-night wakeups and early morning energy bursts.

Secondly, You Can Fall In Love Instantly.

Puppy love is real, and an 8-week-old puppy will steal your heart instantly.

You can fall in puppy love and care so much for something you have only had a few days. {She is so sweet everyone loves her, who sees her}.

As, mentioned above, Border Collie puppy is so sweet that everyone who meets her falls in love.

Thirdly, Running Around The Garden In PJ’s Is Fun.

Running around the garden at 3 a.m. with an 8-week-old Border Collie becomes a surprisingly fun memory.

Running around the garden in your PJs in the middle of the night can be fun too! {Trying to tire her out for a few more hours sleep}. Thing’s you do!!

Puppies bring lots of laughter when you’re out in your pajamas at night trying to tire them out.

You Start Talking Like A Baby!

Fourthly, You Start Talking Like A Baby!

Talking to your Border Collie puppy makes you realise you’ve adopted a whole new baby-talk language.

Every time you speak to your puppy the words that come out sound like baby talk. {Good girl!! goo goo}.

Fifth, Border Collie Dogs Are Clever.

A Border Collie puppy learns quickly, picking up commands faster than most other breeds.

A Border Collie can learn something straight away. {Day 2 whining to do her business, amazing!! still a few wee accidents though}.

Sixth, Border Collie Can Be Quick To Learn Outside.

Toilet training an 8-week-old Border Collie puppy can be easier than expected, though accidents happen.

How quickly an 8 week old can be toilet trained. {Read no.5, hehe}.

Seventh, Warms Your Heart And Feet Instantly.

Puppies make the cutest little foot warmers when they curl up by your toes.

A puppy makes a good foot warmer. {Just stand in the same place for more than a few minutes e.g washing the pots and she comes and lays on them!}.

Standing at the sink becomes cosy when your Sheepdog puppy rests on your feet.

Keeps You Busy Cleaning And Tidying:

Eighth, Keeps You Busy Cleaning And Tidying, Also Never Leave You Shoes Around.

Leaving shoes around with a puppy in the house is a big mistake, shoelaces are irresistible. I should know!! No I don’t eat them, haha!! Mollie does.

You should never leave your shoes around. {The laces must be so tempting to chew on}.

Ninth, Lots Of New Smells.

Every smell that is made in the house the can now be blamed on the dog! {Boy can she trump!!}.

A Border Collie puppy can turn every household smell into a mystery.

Life with a Border Collie puppy is never dull, they’re full of surprises.

Tenth, Dogs Grew In Confident Everyday.

Every day, an 8-week-old Sheepdog puppy grows more confident and playful.

She grows in confidence every day. {Day one she just sat quietly, now nobody’s feet are safe!!}.

On day one, your Sheepdog puppy might be shy, but within days, they own the house.

Training an 8-week-old puppy is both rewarding and hilarious as they learn new tricks.

I love puppies. They are similar to babies in some ways (2 a.m. is no big deal to puppies either lol). Great that your family has a new member:)

She's beautiful! Aren't puppies/dogs the best? If we could all be a little more like our fur babies the world would be a better place. :)Debbie

She's gorgeous!! Reminds me of my little doggie when she was a puppy, I still see her as a puppy. If you have a problem with chewing, try to find Bob Martin 'Chew Stop'; you just spray it and it works. They sell it in Asda and probably pet shops too. Once we got her a flavoured rawhide bone to chew on she was happy to leave the furniture alone, she needed lots of toys and chewy things but she was very happy and it was co cute to see this tiny puppy trying to carry them around! xxBobbyanne
