Blue Monday is the name given to a day in January said by a UK travel company, Sky Travel, to be the most depressing day of the year.

So today I Am Capturing the Essence of Blue Monday. Diving into some old photo featuring captivating shades of blue that beautifully creates a happy mood, on this famous blue day.

Wish I Was Here Now: Blue Monday:

Wish I was here now, where would that be, you might ask? Anywhere nice and warm, I would reply!! I hate being cold.

Plus snow is on the forecast for this week! But instead of being somewhere warm, I’m stuck in the Monday blues, drowning in a sea of coffee that’s desperately trying to jumpstart my brain.

If only my coffee mug had a magic button labeled “Skip to Spring,” I’d be pressing it so hard, I’d break the space-time continuum.

Instead, here I am, daydreaming about a parallel universe where Mondays are just mythical creatures and the weekend lasts as long as a Netflix binge session.

Not this weekend thought, as it is my weekend to work!!

If wishes were coffee beans, I’d be sipping a cup of “Blue Monday Eraser Blend” right now. But until then,

I’ll just keep staring at my calendar, hoping it transforms into a treasure map leading straight to the land of eternal other weekends. (not the working weekend kinds, haha).

Trying to style this light blue layered dress on holiday is like attempting to tame a fashion-savvy gust of wind! First, I wrestled with the layers, thinking I had accidentally enrolled in a crash course on fabric origami.

So as I spun around in front of the mirror, I looked less like a style icon and more like a confused contestant in a dress-donning Olympics. I decided not to accessorise. Too tricky!!

The dress was probably having a good laugh at my expense, thinking, “Nice try, human. Stick to shorts and a T-shirt next time. Who knew that a simple light blue dress could turn into a comedy of fashion errors?

Secondly, Wish I Was Here Now: Blue Monday. (The original post photo). Summer holidays go by way to fast. I wish I was on a beach again right now!! Bognor Regis Beach in summer, how beautiful? How about you?

This Blue Monday photo was taken at Bognor Regis Beach. It is a charming coastal destination located in West Sussex, England.

Situated on the southern coast, it offers visitors a picturesque setting with its long stretches of sandy shores and gentle waves of the English Channel.

This photo was taken on a family holiday to Butlins. This day felt like we were on holiday abroad!

Known for its family-friendly atmosphere and traditional seaside charm, Bognor Regis Beach attracts both locals and tourists alike.

The beach is a popular spot for sunbathing, picnicking, and building sandcastles during the warmer months.

St James Park, London:

Thirdly, St James Park. So a blue dress, blue sky, and blue reflections. How blue were these photos, taken in St James Park in September? So blue! Such a lovely day out in London.

In the heart of St James Park, I found myself in a dance of blues – a symphony where the sky harmonised with the gentle ripples of the lake, and my chosen blue dress waltzed in tandem with nature’s palette.

The vibrant fabric of my dress seemed to absorb the very essence of the cloudless sky above. Walking along the water’s edge, the blue dress flirted with the reflections on the lake, playing a coy game of mimicry with the surrounding scenery.

As I twirled beneath the canopy of trees, the sunlight filtering through, it was as if the entire park had become a canvas painted in various shades of blue.

The ducks quacked their approval, perhaps impressed by the unintentional coordination of my fashion choices with the park’s natural beauty.

St James Park became a living tableau of blue elegance, with me, the dress, and the sky sharing a harmonious moment of pure bliss.

Fourthly, A Day At Brighton Beach In My Polka Dot Dress. Sunshine On My Mind. This beautiful mild weather we had in September makes me wish I had more holiday’s to take off work in summer and go to the beach.

Here I am, perched behind a blue and white stripy deck chair taking the pefect shot. The sun is shining so brightly that I’m pretty sure even my shadow is wearing sunglasses.

Who knew sitting on a deck chair in summer could be such a dream on a cold day?

Polka dots, with their classic appeal, nostalgic vintage style. The feeling that it wss ideal for a day at this well-known seaside resort.

Sporting a polka-dot dress at Brighton Beach was a great way to maximise this timeless look.

For the beach, a knee-length polka-dot dress was perfect since it gives you room to roam around while you take in the strides around the pebbles and your eyes away to the see sea.

A.) These photos could have also been taken abroad because the sky was so beautiful.

B.) It was a beautiful red hot day. Which it wasn’t just looked it. The coat was straight back on after these photos, I can tell you!! Ha!! Long Floaty Floral Maxi Dress And White Converse Shoes. So much fun.
