Not often you see a red phone box nowadays.
We saw this one at Wollaton Hall on Saturday.
It was such a miserable day and pouring it down with rain. I always get a nostalgic feeling when I see one. Temporarily warming me up!! Did you know the minimum you can put in a call box now to make a call is 60p !!! It was 10p when I last used one. Inflation…….
My son was racing here and he came home so muddy!!
Can’t wait to go back another day when the sun is shining!

Neat! I just went to Atlantic City for my birthday and there's a fake telephone booth in front of the Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill that looks very similar to that one.
Claire, this past Christmas we were in Gatlinburg, Tennessee which is situated in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains taking in the festive seasonal decorations. Anywho, the area called The Village had a replica of a red phone box. Unfortunately the photos I shared you can't see it. But, I always think it's so neat to see any type of phone booth. The last time I used one I think it cost twenty-five cents just to place a call. I think that was in the mid-70s, too. Thanks for visiting and linking up today. Happy WW!

Fantastic photo. I loved seeing the classic red phone booths last time I was in London. I don't think I have ever seen them anywhere else.
There is still quite a few in London but not half as many, the funny thing is I have often seen people in phone boxes talking on their mobiles LOL …oh well at least they still serve a purpose.Have a rainytastic week
