Cooking Asparagus…

Asparagus had to be one of my favourite vegetables.

I love everything about them, from the colour, the texture to the taste.

They are not the cheapest of vegetables though. So when we do have them, they are a yummy treat. My favourite way to cook them is to fry them.


Ingredients:

  • Asparagus
  • Tsp of butter or olive oil
  • Salt and ground pepper to taste

Method:

  • Melt the butter or olive oil in a griddle pan over medium heat. 
  •  Add the asparagus, salt and pepper.
  •  Cook for around 10 minutes, turning the asparagus often to ensure even cooking.

    Looks so good. I love to roast asparagus but I'll eat it any way!
