9 Christmas Dinner Sides Recipes..

We love Christmas dinner. We all agree in our house, that it is the best meal of the whole year!

It is like a Sunday dinner but a lot more posher!!

We swap a small chicken for a large turkey.

Use fresh vegetables aplenty instead of frozen.

Have mountains of side dishes.

Add some pigs in blankets or devils on horseback, whatever you call them!?

Not forgetting to wash it all down with some tasty white wine.

Also eat far too much.

No room left for pudding even though every year I plan something nice.

Having lots of little side foods on our Christmas dinner make it all the more special. 🎄

As mentioned above, for us Christmas dinner is the best meal of they year. A day we all spend together as a family too. So it has to be special and have all our favourite things on it.

Also it has to have Brussels, even though I hate them!! 😁😁 yuk!! Lol. No worries though as we get mushy peas and the youngest 2 children do not like them so we all get something we are not to keen of.

Today I am sharing 9 Christmas side recipes that you can add to your Christmas dinner.

  1. Brussels Sprouts With Bacon And Chestnuts
  2. Turkey Stuffing Arancini
  3. Christmas Cranberry And Clementine Sauce
  4. Luxury Bread Sauce
  5. Sticky Honey Mustard Glazed Sausages
  6. Braised Red Cabbage With Blackberries
  7. Rosy Roast Beetroot Roots
  8. Dauphinoise Potatoes
  9. Bacon Sprouts And Chestnuts

Our all time favourite sides are pigs in blankets, devils on horse backs, kilted sausages for our Christmas dinner. What do you call them?

Plenty of different names for them aren’t there?

Simply small sausages wrapped in bacon.

Christmas dinner would not be the same without them!!!
