I'm At A Payphone Trying To Call Home: WW Blog Hop...

Happy Wordless Or Not So Wordless Wednesday. Welcome back another fun photo sharing blog hop.

How has your week been going so far? All good I hope?

Have you got any photo's to share with us today? We have been getting out and about a bit and our Wednesday photo's were taken in Nottingham. Near The Nottingham Castle.

I took these photo on Sunday on a day out with my Daughter.

When we got home and I looked at these pictures I just felt that this photo below needed these song lyrics singing to it:

I'm at a payphone trying to call home
All of my change I spent on you
Where have the times gone, baby it's all wrong
Where are the plans we made for two ♯♭

{ Lyrics from song Maroon 5 - Payphone }

In fact, I have been singing this song all week ever since!!

Not very often you see a Red Phone Box nowadays, do you? Whenever we see one we just have to take a selfie in front of it! It would be rude not too, haha!!This one is lovely and bright, I can not believe we did not go inside and check to see if the phone inside worked.

This phone box is outside Nottingham Castle and we took some more pictures here:

  1. Do red phone boxes even have a phone in them nowadays? Your daughter looks lovely in pink with the matching phone case! And her outfit matches your lippy perfectly! Gail x

    1. We never looked in it, then when we got home I noticed there was a phone inside. I need to look next time to see if it works :)

  2. We've got a few in the town, and I had photos taken near on last year, trouble was it was covered in graffiti, and didn't look good with it! Some graffiti looks awesome as a backdrop though. Glad to see you had a great day out. Thanks for hosting the link up. Jacqui

    1. Thanks Jacqui, yes I am with you I like to see graffiti walls but not on things like this. I love the red phone boxes too.

  3. Nice photos Claire like I have said before you are so alike heheh!

Old phone boxes in London are sadly disappearing gradually

    Have apayphonetastic week :-)

  4. Such a great song and iconic find!

  5. fun photos of you and your daughter! Love seeing the old phone booths too

  6. These pictures are so great! And yes, now I have that song stuck in my head!

  7. Looks like you had a fun trip the phone booth is awesome!!

  8. I love those old phone boxes - cute pictures!

  9. That is so cool. Love the photos and the phone booth. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful rest of the week.

  10. nice clicks and i wonder if the pay phone still works lol

    1. Hehe, I never looked until I seen it inside when we got home. I need to know now too :)

  11. I see these fantastic red phone boxes on occasion in New Zealand. People have brought them over and do them up. They are very stylish and much more impressive than the modern phone stations that the local phone company has installed.

  12. Such super adorable shots of the two of you! And I love your lippie color!

Please leave me a comment I love to read what you think :)
