A huge unit to fit at the end of my kitchen to display my love of plates/cups/saucers and cake stands into. Something with lots of glass doors so as not to have any dust settling on the shelves.

At the minute I do not to much storage for all my tableware that I love to collect. Things can easily get broken all crammed into the cupboards. I also forget I have things as they are all packed away at the back of the cupboards and never to be seen for years.

Over the last few years, I have been on the lookout for a nice vintage Welsh dresser for my kitchen. The trouble is brand new ones at a 9ft cost around £3,000.

Second-hand ones this big are hard to find, and would I also be able to rub it down and repaint it into the shabby chic style without ruining it myself!? I did ruin my kitchen table last year trying this idea out, after all!!

How amazing will it look in the kitchen!? It feels like it was made to measure as the measurements fit exactly but a few cm to the sides and height. [ Just hope I have measured it right! Ha!! ]

It arrives on Friday and I can not wait to get it up and fill it with all my stuff!! Watch this space.
