BerryWorld Strawberry, Fig and Rosewater Salad anyone? I think we are having a mini heatwave this week, well I know we are! It is still red hot outside at 6 pm. It is so warm out there. All I want to do is hide in the shade and eat strawberries and sip on homemade iced cold lemonade. #Heatwave
Mollie The Border Collie was so tired after our walk this morning. She just flopped on the kitchen floor and hoped I would not move her, bless her! I would hate to be wearing a big fur coat like she has on, in this weather.
We also had a little walk this afternoon and I could feel the sun burning my back.
Why not, serve this as a summer dessert on warm balmy evenings. It’s healthy, slightly unusual and very pretty. It also works well as a special breakfast fruit salad. You can find rosewater in most supermarkets and it’s worth the effort to get it as it really makes the dish.
