BerryWorld Strawberry Mousse: Whip up this light mousse in a flash and store it in the fridge until ready to eat. It’s easy to make ahead of time and offers a healthier but delicious alternative to ice-cream.

How To Make BerryWorld Strawberry Mousse:

What materials make up strawberry mouse? Fresh strawberries, eggs, caster sugar, and cream are whisked together to create Strawberry Mousse, which is then served.

Berry Mousse- A mousse is a soft dish that has been made with the addition of air bubbles to create a light and airy feel. This quick mousse may be prepared in a hurry and kept in the refrigerator until consumption.

It’s simple to prepare in advance and provides a delicious but healthy alternative to ice cream. Depending on the methods used in preparation, it can be anything from fluffy and light to creamy and dense.

Serves: 4

Preparation time: 10 minutes | Cooking time: 1hr chilling

You’ll Need:

  • 200g BerryWorld strawberries plus a few for decoration
  • 2 egg whites
  • 30g caster sugar
  • 100ml double cream

What To Do:

How is Berry mousse made?

  1. Puree the strawberries to a smooth consistency and set aside.
  2. Whisk the egg white to stiff peaks, sprinkle in the sugar and continue to whisk until you have a stiff, glossy meringue.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the cream to a soft peak then fold into the meringue mixture until completely incorporated.
  4. Fold and swirl the strawberry puree leaving a few pink streaks visible. Spoon into serving glasses or bowl and chill for an hour. Add a few strawberry slices to serve.
