1.) BerryWorld Strawberry And British Asparagus Mini Quiches:

How sweet!?

Alex says~

“This recipe is quick and easy – using bought puff pastry it’s a twist on a classic quiche. Crème fraiche, eggs and pink peppercorns work together beautifully and the final result looks & tastes divine. Sometimes I like to make tiny individual tarts for picnics!”

4.) Prosciutto di Parma And Asparagus Quiche:

How beautiful has the weather has been over the last few days? It has got everyone in our house thinking of the Summer holidays. Hopefully, the weather stays the same!! We always make a Summer to do list before the new term starts.

One of the top things on our list this year will be to spend more time in the garden. Plenty of outdoor relaxation with nice food and drink to while away the hours. If you are not shopping or on holiday, quality family time at home always feels better in the fresh air.

All weekend we have been visiting shops and looking online for some garden furniture. We have picked out exactly what we want, we now have to hope they have them in stock ready for delivery as soon as possible. I can imagine lots of people are buying outdoor furniture now. Will I ever buy in Winter when it’s cheaper?

Probably not…

5.) Smoked Trout, Duck Egg and Watercress Quiche with Davidstow® 18 Month Extra Mature Cheddar:

Quintessentially British, a quiche should be the mainstay of any summer picnic or light lunch.

This recipe combines smoked trout, duck egg, watercress and a strong cheddar to create something really special for the whole family.

I haven’t made my own crust for my quiche in a while and I should. I have been using heavy cream instead of creme fraiche but should see what we have here in the US that is comparable. Looks yummy!

I love quiches, and I’m glad my husband does too. They are an easy way to pack in vegies that need to be used up!!

I’m a real pastry love and often make a quiche with broccoli. I can’t have cheese though, so it’s just made with eggs! xx
