At what age would you recommend trying to bake with your child for the first time? My son’s 2nd birthday is approaching and he loves to sit on a chair and watch me bake and I would love to have his help. But I am just not sure he is ready.

    • Hi Erica. Yes if I was you I would wait a bit longer. Getting kids helping is fun but I would just wait a while yet. Talking him through what you are putting into the cakes is good at this age, helping him learn different ingredients. I use to give my Daughter a little bit of the mixture to play with and she had her own rolling pin but she was about 5 years old then.
