5 Ways To Upcycle Old Jars: Recycle And Reuse. Hello friends. I like to up-cycle old things as well as making them into some new and usable.

Glass jars are among my favourite things to up-cycle along with clothes and shoes! So much fun turning something that you would throw away into something pretty.

I am going to share a few reasons why re-cycling old jars is a good idea- firstly it saves you bin getting full, secondly, it gets you creative and last but not least; recycling is great for the planet. What’s not to love?

Also the great thing with glass jars and bottles is that you can always pick up something a little different and they make the best things to up-cycle.

1.) Drinking Glasses Made From Old Re-cycled Jam Jars:

Firstly, wash out old jam jars and make cool drinks in them. Fresh fruit, water and lots of ice cubes are such a sweet idea. Smoothies also look great in old jam jars. You could try this smoothie made and served up in an old jar: Spiced Pumpkin Green Smoothie.

2.) Flowers Vase Made From Old Used-Jars:

Secondly, keep them under the sink or in a shed if you are saving them for flowers.

Great for an unexpected delivery of flowers or some you have picked out of your garden. Sometimes you can never have enough flowers vases.

4.) Homemade Jam And Marmalade Stored In Reused Jars:

Fourthly, save up your old jam jars and make some yummy homemade jam or marmalade.
