A Walk Over Tower Bridge: Thing’s To Do In London when it’s raining!!
Hello friends. Happy Friday. Today my Friday Feet photo is above Tower Bridge in London. You can see me walk this glass walkway here on Instagram.

Happy Friday!!
A Walk Over Tower Bridge: Thing’s To Do In London:
How is your week going? Mines going OK. Mollie The Collie is recovering well from Cancer.
But we noticed yesterday that the vet forgot to take the stitches out under her arm so we have to take her back tomorrow. She will not be happy. She hates that place with a passion.

Come On A Walk Inside And Over Tower Bridge With Us today. It is a lot warmer inside than it was on this day.
Just under 2 days in London and it was chucking it down with rain. Typical!! Oh no, what to do in London when it’s raining?

Well, we went to a few museums and took a visit to the top of Tower Bridge. I had my big cosy coat on and guess what!! It is no good in the rain. I was soaking. We did not take an umbrella either!! EEK!!

Why is it when you can’t do something, you want to do it more? We are still in lock-down 2 and I can not wait to start travelling again. We are now in Tier 3 so still no travelling.
I know in reality we will have to wait until next year now to visit London again.
As when lock-down 2 has finally finished, I can imagine it will be busy travelling to London as people will be out and about buying things for Christmas.

So I am now making fun plans for next year.
Not planning too much though as last year I made a bucket list for Summer 2020. You can read it here: 17 Reasons I Am Looking Forward To Summer 2020. No, I never completed this list.
I thought last year was a bad year but this year has topped it!!

My son his doing amazing with his new lifestyle changes. A few weeks ado her got diagnosed with Diabetes, type 1 ( you can read a bit more about it here Visit To The Pumpkin Farm).
Also, poor Mollie The Border Collie survived here massive operation which I mentioned earlier. Which was dreadful for her. 3 tumours removed and she has been spade. She has had stitches all the way under her.

So sad. Also On Friday, the vets phoned us to tell us the results had come back and it was cancer 🙁

Anyway onto something happier and our rainy day in London.

Wow, what an amazing thing to do. Walk over Tower Bridge. This is what we did when the husband and I got to visit London on our own for the night before lock-down.
I loved reading and seeing all the history behind making the bridge and seeing all the photos from way back in time.

Visiting Tower Bridge and having a walk over the bridge from high up is so cool and I was really pleased we got to do it. I never realised you could do this tour before my husband surprised me with this visit.
So pleased we walked up the steps instead of taking the escalator or we would have missed it.

So are you looking for strawberry tea dress fashion for women in their 50s? Like I was last week? I found this beautiful pink afternoon dress, on Amazon. and it felt lovely a floaty to wear.
I just forgot to iron it and it was only when people were noticing it, I wish I had made more of an effort!!

How Cool Is The Glass Floor?
Hands up who has a fear of heights? Both mine are in the air!! I was so nervous walking the Tower Bridge glass floor, that my knees were trembling. But I did it.
The glass floor was kind of scary but you felt safe at the same time.
So cool to think that some of the scenes in a Spiderman film was filmed here too.

Claire, I think this is so cool that you did this, but my fear of heights is so severe that I can’t even look at the photos without triggering a mild panic attack! Haha. So I kinda just scrolled through real fast to avoid that. Thanks for linking with me!

It was lovey in here. I do have fear of heights but was OK in here.
I’ve never walked over London Bridge on that inside bit before! I will have to try that. I wish Molly a good recovery and I hope it has now left her body. Bless you Claire. What a worry xx

Aww, thanks Laurie. Such stressful times xx
Not a fan of heights or of glass floors but I too always feel so proud of myself when I manage to conquer that fear. So sorry to hear that Mollie had/has cancer. I hope the surgery helps her last many more healthy years. Glad to hear your son is adjusting to his new lifestyle. I too long to travel– just about anywhere at this point! In the meantime I just try to think of all the money we’re saving up and how we’ll be able to do it up big when we finally can travel again.
