One of the lovely things about blogging is looking back at all the wonderful opportunities, outfits and memories along the way.

Today I’m sharing a special fashion blogging memory from 2016, when my blog was shortlisted for the BritMums Brilliance in Blogging Awards in the Beauty and Fashion category.

I was so excited to discover that my little corner of the internet had been recognised! It was such a lovely feeling knowing that people had taken the time to nominate and support my blog.

So Exciting!! I love it when my blog gets noticed and people actually take time out to vote for me. You are so lovely. 

Today I’m and sharing some photo’s a fashion shot from Christmas and how Marisota made me look all glamorous!! And asking nicely for your votes. (closed now).

I loved this day, getting to dress up in party clothes, having my hair and makeup done and pretending to be a model. Such a fantastic day.

One of my favourite fashion memories was a photoshoot in Manchester with Marisota.

I had the opportunity to dress up in some gorgeous outfits, have my hair and makeup done and enjoy a little taste of what it was like to be a model for the day!

It was such a fun experience and one I still love looking back on.

The photographs from the day included a beautiful red lace dress and a striking all-black outfit. Both looks were quite different, but I loved how glamorous they made me feel.

You can never go wrong with a beautiful red dress!

I loved this lace dress from the Marisota photoshoot. Red is such a confident, eye-catching colour, and the lace detailing made it feel extra special.

It’s the sort of dress I’d happily wear for a party, a special occasion or a night out.

I think a little glamour should always have a place in our wardrobes, whatever our age.

Fashion blogging has given me so many opportunities to try different styles, work with brands, meet lovely people and share outfits that I hope inspire others.

I started my blog in 2011, and over the years I’ve enjoyed sharing everything from everyday outfits to special occasion looks.

My style has evolved along the way, but one thing hasn’t changed: I still believe fashion should be fun.

You don’t need to follow every trend or spend a fortune to enjoy getting dressed. Sometimes it’s simply about finding clothes that make you smile and feel confident.

Also, being shortlisted in the Beauty and Fashion category was such an exciting moment for me.

I was incredibly grateful to everyone who nominated and supported me. It’s lovely to know that people enjoy reading about the outfits and fashion finds I share.

Looking back, it’s one of those blogging memories that still makes me smile.

Fashion At Every Age.

I love that fashion gives us the chance to express our personalities.

Whether it’s a beautiful lace dress, an all-black outfit, a colourful statement piece or something comfortable for everyday life, there’s no reason to stop experimenting with style as we get older.

Being over 40 doesn’t mean playing it safe with fashion. Wear the colours you love, enjoy dressing up and have fun with your wardrobe!
