Blink And You Really Do Miss It: The Photo Sharing Linky.
Hello friends. How is the start of January 2020 going for you? All good I hope?
All Building Work Finished:
Finally all the building work is done here now. Yesterday was the last of our big jobs to be done when we had a new back door fitted. I am so glad everything is now done so I can get my house straight again.
Build A Bear:
I have a bedroom full of my Daughter’s Build A Bear teddy bears that she no longer wants as she is too grown up to keep them in her bedroom now. Then again, she does not want to get rid of them as she was keeping them in the garage. Now we no longer have a garage as it is now our dining room. What to do, what to do. I do not really want them in my bedroom.
Where Does The Time Go?
It only feels like yesterday she was collecting them and now she is turning into a young woman.

I found this photo yesterday when I was going through some old posts from my blog. Winter Fun: Kicking The Leaves. My youngest two children were small. Now they are taller than me.
Make The Most Of Them Being Young:
I remember people telling me to make the most of the time with them when they were small but I never really expected time to go by so quickly.
About This Photo:
I remember this day well as we went up to watch my eldest two boys run cross country. The youngest two were enjoying kicking the leaves at each other. One of those moments when you tell them to stop maybe, but they are having some much fun they forget to listen to you?
My eldest Son who would have been racing is 26 this year and I remember giving birth to him like it was yesterday!! I can’t imagine him being a dad yet but I had two children by the age of 26 too.
Today’s featured post from the blog hop is from Kristi from French Creek Farmhouse. I adore her dresses and love the bunting she has made to go with it. You can read Kristi’s post here: Joy To The World Bunting.

They do grow up too fast! I had the same issue with my daughter’s Build a Bears. She ended up giving some away to some young kids we knew but we still had a lot of them. It’s hard to let go for sure!

That’s a great idea, Heather. I will have to talk her into doing this with hers:)
They do grow up fast. My kids at the beginning of the teens were 13 and 12 and now they are adults in their 20’s. It happens fast. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you have a wonderful week.

It is amazing how quickly time goes by 🙁
I don’t have kids but I see how fast life goes, so I can imagine how you see it! Thanks for hosting.

Thanks Nancy. It is scary how quickly time goes by.
I hear you and totally agree Claire, I can’t believe my little girl is a mum of three and my son is a dad & my other daughter is married! I still have two at home (thankfully) but it seems like only yesterday I bought them all home – life goes so quickly and I do try to enjoy all the times with them, but I was defo guilty of wishing they were older! Got what I asked eh! Enjoying the grandkids now, that’s a whole new ballgame. xx Jacqui
