Happy Blue Monday! I say happy because I believed today was going to be a good day. Not the most depressing day of the year as predicted. But boy, was I wrong!!

Blue Monday- A day in January known as “Blue Monday” is regarded as the most depressing day of the year.

Looking for the perfect outfit to make a statement? Pair a stunning blue dress with classic Mary Jane heels for a look that’s both elegant and timeless.

Whether you’re dressing up for a special occasion or just want to add a pop of colour to your everyday wardrobe, this combination is sure to turn heads.

The flattering silhouette of the dress and the comfortable yet stylish design of the heels make this outfit both fashionable and practical.

So step out in style with a blue dress and Mary Jane heels, and get ready to feel confident and chic wherever you go.

A Blue Dress And Mary Jane Heels.

Saturday was the darkest day of the year so far, for me. Something big went on for my family and I. So for me, this was my blue Saturday!!

But as they say, it all turned out well in the end. But it is a day I would like to forget now.

So I went into today positive and happy! No Blue Monday here!?

Starting out the day on a walk with Murphy The Goldendoodle.

When we got to the park. I wasn’t concentrating for a minute and without realising, Murphy sprinted off to chase a few birds.

The next thing I know the extended lead had fully extended and I was sprinting in heavy walking boots until I could sprint no more.

My body flew in the air, crashing down and I landed on my knee, hip arm, and head.

The world went dark for a few seconds and the next thing I noticed was Murphy on my lap, licking my face, cuddling me and he was all worried too.

So I did end up with a Blue Monday, after all.

Also, a swollen lip cuts all over, and a painful jaw!! So that is two days off work, I would like to forget about now!!

The good part of the fall is, Murphy ran to me instead of running off. My head landed on the grass instead of the pavement.

Also the reason I wasn’t looking where I was going was that I was looking at how dirty some dog owners really are leaving poo around, thankfully I didn’t land in any!!

Blue Dress And Mary Jane Heels

Blue Dress And Mary Jane Heels:

Onto this outfit!! I do love a long floaty dress from Tu Clothing at Sainsbury’s.

So when I saw this one at half price I knew I had to have it. Along with a few more, of course! I am also obsessed with Mary Jane Shoes at the minute too.

I have brought a few lower-heeled platform styles and my son treated me to these as part of my Christmas present. The part when he needs a little extra and let me pick.

Want to look stylish and chic? A blue dress and Mary Jane heels are the perfect match! Also a black scarf tied in a bow.

What I Wore: Dress: Tu Clothing, Christmas Sale | Mary Jane Shoes: Tu Clothing, Christmas Sale | Chiffon Black Scarf

I wore this outfit over Christmas as I’ve not taken many photos this year so far. Also today I am feeling sorry for myself when I had planned a new dress to wear so I ended up in fresh PJ’s after I washed all the dirt out of my wounds but so comfortable when you feel bruised all over.

A Blue Dress And Mary Jane Heels:

Styling a blue dress and Mary Jane heels creates a timeless and elegant look that effortlessly balances sophistication and charm.

Pairing this dress with Mary Jane heels, characterised by their classic strap design, lends a touch of vintage allure to the ensemble.

The shoes’ refined silhouette and comfortable yet sturdy heel height make them an excellent choice for both day and evening events.

Complete the look with subtle accessories and a complementary clutch to achieve a look that exudes poise and style, ideal for any occasion, from brunch dates to formal evenings.

Secondly, Blue Monday: Mollie!!

Beautiful Mollie I miss her so much. I remember this day well and she did make me LOL. Ok, I admit I did not like the blue toilet roll the husband brought home to make the bathroom ‘look nicer’.

I really didn’t!! Some things are not meant to be blue, like food and toilet paper!! Blue Monday: Mollie!!

So sorry to read about your fall! But it’s a blessing that you didn’t hit your head on hard pavement or land in doggie poo. The blue dress is gorgeous, and those shiny Mary Jane’s are the perfect complement to the feminine dress. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 49.

Oh no, Claire!! That’s awful….I hope you’re fully recovered now. It’s horrible falling over, isn’t it? The last time it happened to me, I was wearing a new pair of boots to try them out in readiness for an upcoming winter holiday in the snow. Unfortunately, I didn’t take into account how slippery they might be on a tiled floor and I ended up getting out of the car and falling right on my bum with such a thud. It hurt like hell for a day or two. But your fall sounds much worse than mine, you poor thing! Such a relief to know that your lovely dog ran to you to make sure you were alright though!!
    Big hugs

I hope you’re feeling better soon, that sounds like a nasty fall. Thankfully Murphy came to check on you instead of running off.
