Can Not Resist A Bargain & My Biggest Bargain

Can Not Resist A Bargain & My Biggest Bargain Ever. Hello friends, happy Friday. Thank Crunchie it’s Friday, eh!?

I’m so excited, and I just can’t hide it. I’m about to lose control and I think I like it. Remember that song?

Remember that Friday Feeling advert from the 90’s? (Well I’m not this excited, but you get my drift!?).

I am happy as it is my weekend off work after my evening shift tonight, so I do have that Friday Feeling!! I hope we can get lots of jobs done over the weekend and go out somewhere nice too.

Can Not Resist A Bargain & My Biggest Bargain Ever

Can Not Resist A Bargain

Can Not Resist A Bargain is not just a phrase but a guiding principle that has led me to countless moments of unexpected joy and satisfaction.

The thrill of stumbling upon a great deal, whether it’s a discounted item, a two-for-one offer, or a hidden gem in a thrift shop, is a sensation that resonates deeply.

From clothing, to home and groceries, my keen eye for bargains has become a skill over the years. The joy from scoring a deal isn’t solely about saving money; it’s about the satisfaction of making a wise and frugal choice.

However, amidst the numerous bargains I’ve encountered, there exists a standout, the epitome of my prowess in bargain hunting — “My Biggest Bargain Ever.”

Can Not Resist A Bargain & My Biggest Bargain Ever

It wasn’t just about the monetary savings but the sheer serendipity and rarity of the find. Whether it was a high-end piece of clothing at a fraction of its original cost is an ultimate bargain has become a cherished story, a testament to the belief that persistence and a discerning eye can lead to extraordinary finds.

Together, “Can Not Resist A Bargain” and “My Biggest Bargain Ever” encapsulate not just a shopping philosophy but a narrative of discovery, resourcefulness, and the joy derived from the unexpected triumphs of frugality.

Can’t resist a bargain! Can you? Mixed shopping trip yesterday with some second-hand clothes and new pyjamas. You know I’m drawn to polka dots and got 2 polka dot dresses, 1 polka dot shirt, a lovely tartan skirt, and silky blouse.

So many bargains.

I mentioned yesterday that I was going on a fun shopping trip with my daughter and mum. You can read yesterday’s post here: Pink Animal Print Dress & A Black Polo Neck Jumper. Thrifty Thursday.

Can Not Resist A Bargain & My Biggest Bargain:

In my quest for buying more sustainable clothes that will stand the test of time, I have been finding some bargains in charity shops.

I did buy some beautiful Disney Lady and the Tramp pyjamas from Primark though as Lady is so adorable and I miss my Mollie so much.

Coffee threw in and a lovely surprise catch up with cousins lots of laughter was had by all.

You can catch my Instagram reel here and have a sneak peep of what I brought! Charity Shop Haul.

Also, I have a top tip of the day, if someone phones you when you are out shopping, pick up the phone. You never know there might be around the corner.

It would not have crossed my mind not to answer!! Ha!!

My Biggest Bargain Ever:

Well, this has to be my biggest ever bargain that has stood the test of time.

I honestly can not remember when I brought it but before I moved house I think so it must be over 14 years old.

When Asda had a refit and sold everything off cheap. So, I picked this dress up for £1.00 and have my pounds worth over and over again.

Also, it still washes up beautifully and no ironing is needed as it is the crinkled-up effect.

I even wore this on my 40th birthday ( over 8 years ago!) and it is still going strong. You can read that post here Birthday Treats And Turning The Big 4 0 !! So turning 40 is not really that bad. Even though I feel a lot old than I did in my 30’s. Birthday Treats And Turning The Big 4 0.

Now if that is not sustainable, nothing is. Go me!! Ha, what do you think?
