Charity Shop Finds That Are Worth Sharing

Charity Shop Finds That Are Worth Sharing:

Charity Shop Finds That Are Worth Sharing. So over at Avril’s blog, School Gate Style, she has set us all a little challenge for March. The challenge is all about those charity shop finds that are worth sharing.

Avril shares some great tip on buying from a charity shop in this post and it is totally worth checking out.

We also love a good look around the charity shops and you can always find something worth shouting about.

Sometimes I can pop into a charity shop and never find anything, this put me off for while then sometimes I nip in and find an unexpected bargain or 10. Then I don’t know which to buy and which to leave. It is amazing what bargains people donate. I love finding an hidden gem.

I found this bargain blazer on the £1.00 rail. It is a Vintage style Herringbone Tweed coat from the L’Art range at River Island. Just checking the name on Ebay I notice this jacket has a starting price at £39.99! Whoop whoop. So a really good bargain, methinks!!

With its 40’s style kick to it and 3/4 sleeves I just have not found the right thing to wear with it yet!

It is hard to smile and take a natural picture when the sun is shining directly in your eyes and the neighbour is in the kitchen window, maybe watching? Eh? Ha! Oh well here goes.

Something usually catches our eye each week. At the minute the charity shops are changing their winter stock to summer stock that they have too. They have been saving up some good stuff over winter so you can really see something good you want to buy. Styling A Charity Shop Dress.

HOLY SMOKES YOU LOOK AMAZING. Yes, I had to use all caps to convey HOW SMOKING HOT YOU LOOK. Rawr! Love the blazer and the whole look- so timeless a little 1940s film noir meets 2014 street style outside a fashion show. Amazing. Thank you for linking this thrift store score/look up with the #secondhandfirst link up. PS: did I tell you that you look amazing? AMAZING.

I invariably come out of charity shops empty handed, yet keep seeing amazing finds on other people, and so I live in hope that my lightbulb moment will come! Did buy my favourite Biba playsuit from Bang Bang on Goodge Street though, so I live in hope! Thanks for linking to #AllAboutYouMama

This is one of the joys of shopping I don't get to do much. No consignment or thrift worth doing here. But someday! You look fabulous … very nice blazer, and there's nothing more classically cut than this one. You'll wear it to rags. Good for you!
