Cheeky Shoes Review: So Many Great Colours

Cheeky Shoes Review: So Many Great Colours. Hello friends. So how are you today. A lot has changed since I got to review my first pair of Cheeky shoes in June. (Original  Cheeky Shoes Review here). You know how much I love my shoes!!

Post contain PR sample.

Cheeky Shoes Review: So Many Great Colours:

Not only has their website had a complete makeover, (which by the way looks great!).

So has the packaging, logo and the shoes.

They now manufacture exclusively in England, supporting the local community, making their products a more ethical choice for us!

After wearing the original shoes out, I now have a new pair to try out.

I cannot think of a day that went by during the summer months that I did not wear the originals.

They were perfect for the school run, going on holiday, long shopping days and I have even wore them on nights out.

I was thrilled then to be asked to review a pair of the new style Cheeky shoes.

Speedy Delivery, That Is What I Like:

Speedy delivery again, the next morning after placing my order, the postman knocked on the door with my parcel. They arrived in a lovely box with my favourite polka dot design on it.

This made the shoes feel special, I was excited to open the box.

How lovely and sweet is the box? and the shoes!

So Many Great Colours

Cheeky Shoes Review: So Many Great Colours:

Here is what Cheeky Shoes have to say about the new shoes-

How making in the UK makes for better, more affordable shoes.

When you pop down the high street to buy some nice shoes, you may not realise it, but you’re actually getting a pretty bad deal. That’s because most of the price you pay, goes into the pockets of middlemen.

Imagine you’re popping down to your favourite shoe shop to buy a pair of leather boots for the winter. They cost around £180. Which seems a fair price as they’re made from real leather and they’ll last you more than one season.

Well, it seems fair until you think about this – that pair probably only cost about £10 to make.

What?! £180 For A Pair Of £10 Shoes?!

Here’s how it works:

Those boots were most likely produced in China. So had to be hauled over here on a big container ship. Add a few pounds for transport.

Then HMRC steps in and takes all sorts of taxes. Depending on the materials, this can be anything up to 50% of the value of the shoes. Add quite a few extra pounds for taxes.

The brand you’re buying then needs to sell them for a profit, so the shoe shop picks them up for around £70.

But before they get onto the shelves of the high street shop, they’ll sit in a distribution centre for a while. Add a few pounds for that too.

High street shops have a lot of costs themselves, from renting the building they sell from, to maintaining their fancy window displays. They need to sell those shoes at £180 to make ends meet.

It’s all very complicated and gave the guys over at CheekyShoes HQ a headache.

So, they decided to cut out the middlemen and pass on the savings to you –

Which can be anything between 40%-65% compared with brands sold on the high street.

Because their shoes are made in England, there’s no money spent on transport, import taxes or distribution centres.

Nor do they need to pay for expensive retail space. The shoes are made in their East London workshop and are sent straight to you.

What I Think Of The New Cheeky Shoes:

I really like the new style. They have changed a lot from the old style, the soles and uppers feel higher quality, the middle strap has gone and they have a nice leather piece at the back with a little elastic to make sure your shoes stay on. I picked the perfect colour ~ red!!

How lovely and bright does this colour look?

Perfect for Autumn, and they go great with all my favourite jeans, chinos, skirts and dresses too. They also look perfect with navy skinny jeans too.

The Size 7 that I ordered felt slightly tight on first try.

I feel the uppers, unlike the originals do not stretch as much, so your toes feel tighter than normal. Depending on your foot shape, going a size larger may be beneficial.

The uppers are clearly designed to last longer. They are certainly better quality than the originals. To stop them feeling tight I have used a shoe stretcher to loosen them up. This has resolved my problem.

Unlike some companies if I had have wanted to exchange them for the next size up, it would have been a hassle free experience, as their customer service is first class.

They also now come with deodorising bamboo lining that keeps your feet fabulous and fresh.

Now I am really excited to see the new designs of the collection that they will be having next ~ boots, brogues, loafers and more pumps ~ all in leather and fun colours, now they sound great to me!!

The new Cheeky Shoes are £35 and available in 6 wonderful colours.

About this review- I was sent a pair of Cheeky shoes to review, I was not paid for this post and all thoughts on the shoes are my own honest opinion.
