Do You Want To Build A Snowman?

Do You Want To Build A Snowman? Also, What I Wore. Hello friends. Happy Friday. So how are you today?

Yesterday we woke up to snow. Lots and lots of snow!! We rarely get snow much, nowadays. As soon as the snow arrives, it usually gets rained away.

Last year we got no snow at all, so it was nice to see the snow arrive and settle for a change.

“Do you want to build a snowman?” Building a snowman is all about creativity and fun—so grab your gloves and start rolling!

Do You Want To Build A Snowman: What I Wore

I love to see the bright fresh white snow around but it soon gets mucked up, when people walk on it.

It’s when it freezes and turns to ice, that’s when I don’t like it. I don’t like it when I work evenings, too!! That means I have to walk home as I’m not going to drive in it.

Snowy days are nature’s perfect backdrop for magical photos, so layer up in style! Think cosy knit scarves, colourful hats, and fluffy mittens that pop against the snow.

Don’t forget a coat that’s as warm as it is chic—whether it’s a classic puffer or a dreamy wool coat. Bonus points for boots with cute patterns that can handle the snow!

The goal? Stay warm while looking effortlessly picture-perfect.

If So Use The Perfect Snow. Use slightly wet snow—it sticks together best! Powdery snow might not hold up well for big snowballs or snowmen.

Try The Three Ball Rule. Go classic with three tiers instead of 2. A big base, a medium middle, and a small head. Roll your snowballs on the ground to make them bigger!

Accessorise Your Snowman In A Unique Way:

Eyes: Small round pieces of coal, fruits like blueberries, buttons, or even stones.

Nose: While carrots are traditional, parsnips or little oranges also work well! Think The Snowman!!

Arms: Sticks work well, but for a more elegant look, try an umbrella.

Hat And Scarf: To add personality to your snowman, search your closet for vintage hats, scarves or quirky accessories.

Make It Special: Create a snow-personality out of your snowman! Put on some headphones, sunglasses, or maybe a toy guitar.

Why Limit Yourself To Just One Snowman Family? Make a whole family out of snow, including pets! A cute touch might be a snow dog or cat.

Seize The Moment: Pose for amusing pictures with your snowman; for more amusement, dress up to fit their theme.

Transform into the ultimate snow queen (or king!) with a wardrobe that complements the frosty landscape.

Neutral tones like cream, gray, and soft pastels blend beautifully with snowy scenes, while bold colours like red or mustard create a striking contrast.

Wrap yourself in a plaid blanket scarf or toss on some faux fur for extra drama. Then, strike a pose and let the snowflakes work their magic.

Snowman

It’s starting to look a bit like Christmas out there. It is funny how every year we wish for snow on Christmas Day and never get it. This is how I always imagine Christmas day to be as we always had snow at Christmas when I was a child.

Meet Our Snowman. We Named Him Jeepers:

Every year when it snows, we go for a walk. Just my daughter and I. A few years ago my daughter made a snowman.

She looked down at the snowman at the time and screamed. It freaked her out. She named him Jeepers.

She wanted to cry but we couldn’t stop laughing. He scared her. So every year since we have to make another jeepers!! Now he doesn’t scare her, he just makes us laugh.

Good old Jeepers!! Brightened up another freezing cold day!!

Did you get some snow, too?

Now I’ve got snow envy. If there is any snow in my area, it’s at least a 2-hour drive away. I can recall one winter when my kids were little and it snowed while we were visited with relatives in New Jersey. They didn’t know what to make of it and they were a little freaked out to be outside as it was happening. LOL

What a funny story! The snow looks beautiful and am getting pretty disappointed that we haven’t had any yet. There is still a chance as we have gotten snow at few times in February so we shall see.

I love your snowman building outfit! We haven’t had snow on Christmas in ages; we even got a huge storm just a few days before Christmas this year and thought we might finally have a white Christmas but then it warmed right up and began raining.

Oh no, I keep dreaming of a white Christmas but never happens
