Fruit infused water and detox waters are all the rage at the minute.
Adding natural fruit and vegetables is a great way of enjoying drinking more flavoured water with adding high sugared pop.
I love making lemon water and here is some I made a few days ago to make the flavour a bit stronger taste to my water and a lot more fun!
What you need:
- A water jug
- 2 pints cold water
- 1 Large lemon
- Half of lime, juiced
- A quarter of cucumber
- 5 Frozen strawberries
- Fill your jug with cold water.
- Wash and thinly slice the lemon. Remove the pips. Pop into the water. Set aside the end pieces and juice to get a little lemon from them.
- Juice the half of lime.
- Add juices to water.
- Wash and slice the cucumber. Add to water.
- Pop in frozen strawberries, stir and put in the fridge for a few hours for the flavours to infuse into the water.
