Fruit Plate Inspiration Full Of Colour And Vitamins.

Hello friends, are you looking for some simple fruit platter ideas?

Fruit always looks more appealing when it has been chopped up and laid out nicely on a plate. Also making a fruit tray ahead of time can save time when you are rushing around and want to serve it.

Don’t you think this too?

If I mention to my youngest children go grab an apple or an orange for a snack they usually want me to peel it for them or say I’ll have one later.

If I chop it up all ready for them you can guarantee they will eat it.

How lovely are these fruit plates?

Full of yumminess, colour and vitamins.

So, so yummy too.

Today I am sharing some simple fruit plate platter ideas with you:

2.) Heart Shaped Fruits:

We love cutting hearts out of fruits.

Watermelon and strawberries being our favourites to make into a heart.

Chop a thin slice of watermelon and the cut out some hearts, lovely!!

To make hearts out of strawberries I usually pick out the biggest ones and then cut them in half first.

Make a pretty pattern on your plate with some blueberries or seasonal berries.

Look, a work of art!

3.) Minimal:

Spacing out your fruit or berries to make the plate look inviting.

For an extra special treat or dinner party idea, melt a little chocolate and drizzle over the strawberries in zigzag lines to make the plate look great.

4.) Plate Up:

Make a few different plates of fruit up the night before and cover with clingfilm.

Perfect for if you’re always rushing in the morning.

Grab your plate and breakfast is served.

5.) Plan Ahead:

Plan your fruit servings around your day and get them ready and stored in the fridge.

Nothing worse than if you buy a pineapple and want to eat it but in a rush.

Chopping it up hours before when you have spare time is a lot better.

All ready for when you need it, perfect.

6.) Make Fun Fruit:

If you have young children, make fruit fun.

Getting creative is so exciting when you’re a kid.

How about making up so fruit kebabs?

Traffic light fruits?

Stacking fruits up?

The possibilities are endless!
