What Time Is It Mr Wolf? Fun In The Garden. Hello friends, so how are you today?
This week I’m sharing some outdoor fun pictures I took way back in May on my phone. These are some of my favourite snaps but just never got around to posting them.
There is always something fun to do in the garden. This time it is trying to find the time! How much fun!!
What Time Is It Mr Wolf? The game if you remember, combines different parts. Including counting, anticipation, and a bit of suspense.
So to make it a popular and fun activity for young children. It’s a game that encourages lots of fun, exercise in movement and social interaction.
Also, while also adding an element of fun, excitement and playfulness.

What Time Is It Mr Wolf?
“What Time Is It, Mr. Wolf?*” is a popular children’s game often played outdoors. It’s a simple but fun game where one player acts as “Mr. Wolf” and stands at one end of a playing area, facing away from the other players who stand at the opposite end.
What Time Is It Mr Wolf?
Remember this game? Children play a game on the playground called “What Time Is It, Mr. Wolf?
Mr. Wolf stands apart from the other players while they ask, “What time is it, Mr. Wolf?”
When asked the time, the wolf answers, “It’s 3 o’clock!”
Then, that many steps are taken by the other players to approach the wolf. This goes on until the wolf decides to respond, “It’s dinner time!” or with another statement.
When Mr. Wolf decides to reply with “It’s dinner time!” and chases the other players, who then try to run back to their starting point without getting caught. If Mr. Wolf catches someone, that player becomes the new Mr. Wolf for the next round.
It’s a game of timing, anticipation, and a little bit of strategy! Instead of moving forward at this stage, the other players flee from the wolf.
Before they can find a safe place, the other players must be caught by the wolf. The player who is caught then takes over as the wolf for the following round.
“Closer now, don’t you peek! Mr. Wolf, what game do you seek?”
