So how is your weekend going?
My eldest Son has been home for the weekend, which has been lovely.
Late nights, all around!
How the younger generation can stay up until the early hours of the morning, eh!?

It was his birthday earlier in the week and he and his girlfriend spent it in Barcelona. How lovely.
Somewhere I have always wanted to visit.
I would love to see the Sagrada Família. It looks like an amazing place to visit.
I really wish we could start travelling up again.
First thing first, renew our passports, methinks.

How cool is this Bowie T-shirt!?
Even better when you get it for free.
My Mum treated herself to it and it was too small. So she gave it too me rather than take it back to the shop.
I get more like her every day 😉
I buy things that do not fit me too. Then rather than take them back, I chuck them in the back of the wardrobe, it ends up in my “gets into one day” pile of clothes.
My wardrobe is jam-packed full of one-day clothes.
I really need to work harder at the gym!

Love My New Red Leather Bag:
I eventually treated myself to a new handbag, with my birthday money. A month after my birthday, I’ve finally spent my money. It has been burning a hole in my pocket for ages but I was saving it for something I really liked and needed.
Typical when you have spare money, you do not see anything you want. Then when you have nothing spare you see lots of things you want to buy.
I found this beautiful leather bag in TK Maxx. It was just what I was looking for. I have wanted a nice quality bag for ages and I saw lots of beautiful leather ones in here. Also a lot of amazing ones, out of my price range.
I didn’t find it at the first store I visited. The had lots of lovely bags but none that fit what I was looking for. So I visited a few other stores and found the perfect one. Not bad for £30.00 either.
In my price range, a few different zip compartments, leather and my favourite colour, red. Perfect! ♥
My Husband has been joking about this “magical birthday money” for the last few weeks. As I kept buying bits and boobs but still had some left. Now he can rest knowing, I’ve spent it all!

Sometimes when I first get a paycheck, the money “burns a whole in my pocket”. It’s hard not to go out and spend it all in one day, but I’ve gotten good at budgeting.
