A day created for balloons! How fun? Balloons make a party pop, don’t they?

Balloons Around The World Day Well, it was created by Jeff Brown in 2000. A day to celebrate the hold-up for these lighter-than-air contraptions.

Happy Balloons Around The World Day:

To tell you the truth I am not a fan of balloons. I was scared of them as a child. Because of the loud bang, they make when someone popped them. Also, hated them when the kids were young as I had visions of them biting them!!

So I will admire them from afar. This is a good distance away from me!! A very good distance. How about you are you a fan of balloons?

Photos were taken in Covent Garden last year. I love how every time you visit London you see something new and different.

I do however love hot air balloons. Not that much that I would want to go in one, though. So scared of heights, too. I would like to be in Bristol for one year for The Bristol National Balloon Festival. Whereas many as 100 hot air balloons may launch at a time. 

My son lives in Bristol and always reminds me when he sends some photos. We must visit next time it is on!!

We generally find ourselves giggling hysterically at my mother because of the funny things she says or does.
