Having My Birthday Celebrations In Lockdown

Having My Birthday Celebrations In Lockdown. Hello friends. How are you? I really did not know what day of the week it was last week with VE Day and Bank Holiday on Friday. I am so glad it is now Monday so I can start again.

Having My Birthday Celebrations In Lockdown:

Having My Birthday Celebrations In Lockdown. Last week it was not just another day in lockdown. Tuesday was my Birthday in lockdown 🧁🎉.

As we are tied in to the house at the minute I did not feel like celebrating but I did promise my daughter a girly day of doing our hair and makeup for a change as I had not worn any makeup in weeks and we had fun styling our hair.

Lockdown Party In Style:

I dressed up in a party dress. Did my hair and make up and cooked dinner in style. It cheered me up no end. It was so funny cooking paella in my party clothes 😁😁.

If At First You Don’t Succeed, Eat A Cupcake:

My cupcakes which my husband got me for my birthday were amazing. 💕 They didn’t last long though.!! 😭 Then again no cake last long when I’m around.

Polka Dots: Classic And Timeless Plus A Birthday Treat In Nottingham:

Firstly, Polka Dots: Classic And Timeless Plus A Birthday Treat In Nottingham. My husband, youngest son, daughter and I were meeting my eldest Son in Nottingham to all go out for a meal. My 2nd eldest Son could not make it as he lives about 140 miles away.

Off we went for a nice walk around the shops then I picked where I wanted to have my birthday lunch. Cosmo, it was then. For an, all you can eat buffet. With extra cakes for my birthday.

Before we went to lunch my eldest Son had to nip into the train station to pick up a train ticket, or at least that is what I thought. I didn’t want to go to the train station so my daughter and I had a look at a quickly vintage shop we like to visit.

When we came out, I could see my Husband and boys laughing but it took me a few seconds to register. My 2nd eldest son had come on a 300 round trip to see me and have lunch with us all together. Polka Dots: Classic And Timeless Plus A Birthday Treat In Nottingham.

Happy Birthday my friend! I swear there are more May birthdays than any other month. I myself know over 200 people born in May, a lot of bloggers are celebrating this month too. As you may know I also am a May baby but a quarantined birthday was not so bad after all, I also had a very special birthday this May as I turned 40! I AM GLAD YOU HAD SUCH AN AMAZING CELEBRATION AND SLIGHTLY JEALOUS YOU GOT TO GO TO A RESTAURANT! And how nice your son could surprise you from so far away. Your party dress is stunning and matches your pretty makeup and I love those scrumptious cupcakes, bet they tasted awesome!

Welcome by and join my Thursday Moda this week and every week. =)

Happy Birthfday Claire! I love your party dress, just perfect for a celebration! Those cupcakes, yum! Sounds like you had a nice day and dinner. It certainly was a different Mother’s Day this weekend, but we enjoyed it nevertheless.

What a pretty dress! Those cupcakes look amazing too. Sounds like you made the day special despite everything; we celebrated my son’s 16th in lockdown a few weeks ago and I struggled to make his day special. But I think in the end we succeeded.
