Relaxing Monday After A Weekend At Work.

A busy weekend for me at work as I work in a supermarket. Lots of food-shelves were needed to be filled. Who needs the gym when you’re helping out on food anyway, ha!!

Highlight Of The Day And A Trip To The Park:

On Friday I just chilled all night after over 6 hours putting food out. When I got home I just felt so sorry for myself and could not move. It was like I had been on a 6-hour workout at the gym.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger!?

So they say and I soon recovered for my next putting food out session!! This also reminded me that I need to get fit again and ASAP!!

Saturday and Sunday were not as tough. I was so pleased to find out. So I recovered well. There is always that worry when you go to work in the back of your mind though.

Will someone come close to me who has covid-19.

Will someone cough near you or touch something before you which does make going to work a little stressful at this moment in time.

I kind of like doing my photos in black and white at the minute because they don’t show I’m not wearing make up, my pale un- suntanned skin and grey hairs coming through, ha!!

Love Taking Photos:

I took the photos on Monday on my day off. I had a nice lazy morning, a few cups of coffee and a nice walk/jog to the park and back.

First time I’ve been out with the husband since lockdown which was lovely and he got me a few pictures too.

Reasons To Go To The Park:

There are so many good reasons why you might choose to go to the park. Here are some of the most common ones:

Firstly, Relaxation. Parks are often quiet, peaceful places where you can escape from the stresses of everyday life and unwind in a natural setting. If there is children or dogs around a park usually has another quite spot you could move too.

Secondly, Inspire Your Imagination. Lot of places in a park for Inspiration. Parks can be inspiring places that spark creativity and encourage people to pursue their passions. I love nothing more than dreaming up my next blog post at the park. I just keep forgetting my pen and paper! They can be great places to read, write, draw, or engage in other creative activities.

The Perfect Place To Exercise.

Thirdly, The Perfect Place To Exercise. Parks are great places to go for a jog. I love to take a run or jog around the park. Clears the cobwebs away. A stroll or a bicycle ride is always a good idea at the park too. They frequently have bike lanes, walking paths, and running trails, making it simple to get some exercise outside. Athletic fields, playgrounds, and other recreational amenities are frequently found in parks and offer options for entertainment and fitness ideas. Basketball is one of our favourites.

Fourthly, Meet New People. People frequently gather in parks to catch up with friends and family. These can be wonderful locations for social gatherings, games, and picnics.

Fifth, Be Around Nature. Parks frequently have a variety of plants, animals, and trees, giving visitors a chance to interact with nature and enjoy its beauty. We love spotting nature.

Last But Not Least, Learning Something New. The natural world, science, and history can all be learned at parks. There are numerous parks that offer educational opportunities for visitors through the use of signs, displays, and guided tours.

    Hi Claire!
Love your pretty dresses! I know what you mean as I have been not wearing much makeup and my grey is coming in too. My stylist is getting my color and it will be in a couple weeks that I do my own hair.. Going for walks is the highlight, as we get out in the sun and the dogs love it. Love to see Molly. My sister works at Costco here too and I get concerned for her.
    Stay safe,

What a cute outfit to wear – isn’t it hard to find the right thing to wear – I want to be dressy, but casual always wins! Jacqui

The highlight of my week is definitely the 2+ hour hike we took this weekend. The sun was shining and it was so nice to get out of the house.
