How Do You Like Your Eggs? Hotel Chocolat Review:

With just under two weeks until Easter Sunday, I have started planning what kind of Easter Eggs or treats my family would like for Easter.

You might also remember from my Gluten-Free Hotel Chocolat Advent Calendars Review that buying treats is not an easy task, anymore.

Over the last few years, it has got harder to just run into a shop and pick a few Easter treats as my daughter has coeliac disease so can now only eat gluten-free.

My eldest son has been diagnosed with a dairy allergy and cannot eat anything with milk in. So everything we buy has to be carefully studied to see if it’s suitable. Label reading and making sure I always have my reading glasses are now crucial!

This year we have all had to adapt to doing more shopping or researching online. I have even got used to sitting at home in my favourite chair picking out gift ideas. I used to love the hustle and bustle of a shop or a market or so I thought. There is something to be said for sitting with your feet up drinking a hot chocolate and picking items. I have even started doing my weekly shop online and find I have more free time to walk the dog or do some gardening. It is certainly more relaxing for sure.

You can guarantee every time I do go to the shops I am passing my husband things, so he can read the labels as I have forgotten my reading glasses. Oops. It is also hard to read with a facemask on as when I do have my glasses they steam up!!

Today I have teamed up with Hotel Chocolat because they have Easter Egg gifts to suit everyone. They sell a wide selection of Easter gift ideas from your traditional Easter Eggs, boxes of chocolate to a luxury collection of alcohol gift sets, perfect for all adults.

What I love about the Hotel Chocolat website is the simple navigation, and quick page loads. It is also clear where to click to see the ingredients and allergy guidelines. Does it contain nuts, wheat, peanuts, eggs, milk soya ? is it suitable for vegans or vegetarians? Give me a click and I can find out. Some sites seem to want to hide the ingredients list or keep it ‘secret’ That is not great kudos to them for a easy web layout. Other food sites take note…

How do you like your Eggs? Do you like Easter eggs, a box of chocolate or maybe like me, both? I also like the sound of the Salted Caramel Chocolate Cream Liqueur! I hope the husband is reading this post, looking for a surprise gift idea for me!!

Here I am showcasing some of their chocolate treats and their gluten free and dairy free treats for Easter 2021:

Gianduja Chocolate Eggs Vegan.

Gianduja Chocolate Eggs Ribbon Bag:

Free From Milk Bunny Pack:

Secondly, how sweet are these Free From bunnies? With all the mellow, creamy taste of milk chocolate. Yum!!

The hunt is on, and everyone’s invited!

Leave your dietary requirement worries at the door, as our Free From City Easter Bunnies are entirely free from dairy, gluten, nuts and wheat.

My Daughter will love these. £8.00 a pack.

Chocolate Spread Easter Sandwich:

Chocolate Spread Easter Sandwich:

Thirdly, 40% milk praline half-eggs sandwiched with 50% milk chocolate.

Sick of those meal deals? We’ve upgraded the humble sandwich into a chocolate creation for an extra-special Easter snack.

The half eggs on each slice are filled with our chocolate hazelnut praline, giving a burst of cocoa flavours tempered by the sweet nuttiness of hazelnuts and the creamy addition of milk.

Smooth and suave, our milk praline is a real crowd-pleaser.

I’m going to save this one for the husband and me or maybe just ME!!

£10.00 each.

£2.00 a pot/ such a sweet idea and great for the little ones.

I wish they were in the U.S., being lactose and gluten intolerant. But I live in Florida, so chocolates through the mail don’t work out so well. Oh well. Can’t have everything.
