I Want To Ride My Bicycle I Want To Ride It Where I Like. Hello friends, happy Monday. So how are you doing today? I hope you are all keeping safe and well? It has been a few days since I last posted. Busy, busy.

Today I am sharing a Motivation Monday post as on Saturday I go on my bike and did a bike ride of over 16 miles when I have not been on a bike for months!! You can see my fun video here: Bike Ride At Sherwood Pines.

Still got it!! After months of staying home and not doing much exercise with lock-down, I surprise myself. I also almost managed to keep up with my husband on a bike ride over the weekend!!

With fitness at the minute, it is one step forward and two back. Especially now I am off work for my Summer holiday and in no kinda routine.

I am decorating the house whilst I have time off work and exercise has gone out the window. So I was looking forward to a bike ride on Saturday.

We got the bikes out and had a few hours bike ride with a few members of our family. I loved it.

The weather was perfect and we had a ride out to Sherwood Pines and back. It is a shame my brakes are going so it looks like my bike needs a bit of work on it but nothing too expensive!!

I can not wait to get out again.

6 Top Fitness Tips For The Winter: Keep On Running:

Firstly, I was searching through my blog for some fitness tips to help me get back into running and stumbled upon this tips post from 2017 and thought I would re-share it to help out my new reader too.

I was asked if I would like to share some top fitness tips for the winter by double world champion British rower and personal fitness trainer Toby Garbett. I love any tips on fitness and I am sure you will too. 6 Top Fitness Tips For The Winter: Keep On Running.

Secondly, 3 of my favourite hobbies are running buying shoes and eating cakes. Come the new year one of these will have to go. Reluctantly it is going to have to be cake, which will hopefully make way for my new fitness regime.

My Top Ten Tips To Lose Weight In Your 40’s And Beyond:

Thirdly, some ideas that I have picked up along the way.

When you reach your forties unless you are very lucky, you can easily start to gain weight. My weight fluctuates like a yo-yo since reaching 40. Then when you get to 45 you might have 2 decisions to make as I have:

1. Buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes (nice idea) that fit properly and comfortably.
2. Try and lose weight. (Perhaps also buy some new clothes!)

Bike riding. Impressive. Exercise for all where I live, is currently confined to inside the home or yard, walking close to home. It will change, but I’ve never seen so many adults and families out walking. Ever.

I don’t think we’ve broken out our bikes once yet this summer! We usually try to use them at least a couple of times but I have a sneaky suspicion that my older two have completely outgrown theirs.
