Kitchen Makeover On A Budget UK

Kitchen Makeover On A Budget UK. Hello friends, so how are you today?

I have eventually got around to sharing some pictures from my kitchen makeover. This is half of my kitchen makeover. I am still saving up to complete the rest. Hopefully, after Christmas, we can do a bit more to it.

Kitchen Makeover On A Budget UK:

My family calls me ” half a job Claire” as I am always starting one job and never getting around to finishing it!! Trouble is the things that are left to do all cost money, so they get left. I would love a new sink, new American style fridge and a double country style oven. Eek, they are all so expensive!

Still, what would life be like if we had nothing exciting to plan for?

The rest of the kitchen is going to be pretty plain-ish and de-cluttered as this half of the kitchen is a bit full on.

How many times have I moved things around on this shelve!?

My pine shelves took ages to stain black but they were worth all the time I spent on them.

Record player on!! Retro all the way!!

Christmas lights were on the shelves but I have now moved them under the Christmas tree. Who knows where they will be next week!?

Some of my favourite drinks for Christmas already on the shelves. Also, some have already been tested, just in case I did not like them anymore 😉

Love this worktop island. Perfect for putting dinners out on and baking.

Still got to pick up 2 more chairs for our dining table as Mollie the Collie destroyed a few when she was left alone in the kitchen one day. That dog loves wood. Caught her the other day trying to munch on my shelves!!

So far so good. Now to plan my new sink next. It is amazing how many things you collect over the years but I hate to chuck things away. They might come in handy one day!! Do you collect thing like me or keep things to a minimum?

Wow, that is a lot of stuff. I wish I had the room to store so much but we have limited space sadly

I am a total hoarder rather than a collector, but I then I have my moments of wanting to chuck out things I never use x

Oooh the kitchen is looking fabulous! We also have some similar shelves in our kitchen because I'm a bit of a collector too.

I love the big shelving unit, I think I need something like this for my utility or dining room (my kitchen is far to small) xx

I love your tea cups on the shelves. Those shelves are brilliant too. You can store too much. I used to keep everything 'just in case' but in the last two years I've become an extreme minimalist which is sometimes good, but it means you end up always needing to run out and buy something. x

As much as I would like to be minimalist, I'm a hoarder at heart!

I'm a bit of a collector of things too, I really need to declutter (or just organise in some way) my life! You've managed to fit a lot of things on to those shelves, K think I need some shelves like that for all of my things too!
