Don’t ya just love listening to the words kids sing to songs when they either don’t know the words to the song or is it they just sing what they like?

Last Christmas, I gave you my heart

But the very next day you gave it away.

This year, To save me from tears

I’ll give it to someone special.

Wham~ Last Christmas.

Next year to save me from tears I will give it to Tesco Extra!! Tesco Extra!!

After a restless night on Christmas eve, 3 out of 4 children ran into our room on Christmas day at just after 6 a.m wanting to open Christmas presents.

A non-stop day of eating food I dropped into bed at 8 p.m and fell into a deep deep sleep.

Today I was feeling a bit sparkly (maybe from eating too many caramel barrels from the Roses tin! :).

We went to visit my mum and dad and have had another day of eating.

So fed up of sweet things we have just watch Man v Food on the food channel and watched him eat 9 litres of ice-cream mixed with lots of fudge sauce, chocolates, jellies and bananas in a chocolate fudge Sunday!!

Oh my, how did he do it!!

I am so ready to detox now!

How about you?

Have you eaten too much over the last few days?

Did Santa buy you some nice presents?

I got some amazing shoes, which I will share very soon πŸ™‚

Happy Christmas Claire!!! I haven't eaten too much… Lucky me I'm vegan so there were too much dishes I couldn't eat. I hope you spent a great time with yours ^_^Ally

Yes, I've eaten way too much! And I'm tired of laying around. Today I got my butt back into gear. Merry Christmas!

Sounds like you had a lovely time. My kids were up at 6am too! I didn't eat too much on Christmas day, as I'm vegetarian. I got up on Boxing Day and I actually weighed the least I'd weighed all year (without trying)! Then I went for a big run and ate McDonalds, Nandos and lots of chocolate!

Sometimes I think I look just as forward to the after holiday detox as I do stuffing myself with all of the sugary stuff! It's fun while you're doing it, but afterwards not so much. Love the blazer and you paired it perfectly with the tunic and leggings!Debbie

lol, I love the title of this post. I have to admit, that song is stuck in my head now. I'm happy you had a wonderful Christmas. I'm with you though, it's time to put my shinny new juicer to use and detox. I'm still full from Christmas dinner… May you and your family have a blessed new year!

Like that outfit too. I tried not to over eat and so happy that I did maintain my weight after all the eating since Thanksgiving. Happy New year!!Kim,USA

  14. Jan Graham-McMillen says:

Very sparkly, very pretty, and ready to easily take on a calorie or two with not much effect. Love the kids interpretive lyrics, too.I had a perfectly planned gorge on Christmas Eve and again on Christmas day, but have been fairly careful since. Will be running my legs off on New Year's Eve at the restaurant, and will have one or two glasses of Champagne when we get home. But will have a feast on New Year's Day … and a famine following that until the weight comes off.
