Let Us Dance In The Sun, Wearing Wild Flowers

Let Us Dance In The Sun, Wearing Wild Flowers In Our Hair.

The field seemed to stretch forever beneath the golden glow of the summer sun.

Everywhere I looked, large daisies nodded gently in the breeze, their white petals shining like tiny rays of light against the vivid green grass.

It was one of those afternoons that felt almost magical, when the sky was painted in endless shades of blue and the air carried the sweet scent of wildflowers.

Love today’s quote of the day and it all seams to fit into place.

It creates a vivid and enchanting image of freedom and joy, reminiscent of a time when life was simpler and nature was our playground.

Hello friends. Happy Sunday.

Let Us Dance In The Sun, Wearing Wild Flowers In Our Hair:

Let Us Dance In The Sun, Wearing Wild Flowers In Our Hair.

Another beautiful day. I am really enjoying this beautiful weather. It was a shame to be at work today too, because it has been so lovely.

I really do not like working weekends (Especially when it is as nice as it has been today!!) but when you work in retail it is hard to get weekends off work.

So I am lucky that I only work every other weekend. Also, I do hope the weather stays like this until next weekend.

I have been on my feet all day at work so it is nice to sit down now and do a little blogging!!

I have the room window open and there is a nice breeze coming in.

The local DJ has just played half an hour music from his doorstep for everyone to hear, which was lovely to listen to.

I wonder if he stops this every Sunday evening once lock-down is over? I could hear lots of people clapping once it had finished. It sounds like he has a nice fan club out there now.

One thing I love to do every spring and summer is take a lot of flower photos.

One thing I’ve missed in lock-down, so much.

So it is really nice now getting out and about on my runs and taking some photos.

The daisies stood tall and proud, scattered across the landscape like a sea of cheerful faces. Their bright yellow centres caught the sunlight, creating little bursts of gold that sparkled among the greenery.

Bees drifted lazily from bloom to bloom, while butterflies floated past on delicate wings, adding even more colour to the scene.

How beautiful are these photos?

Daisy, Daisy:

Daisy, Daisy give me your heart to do.
I’m half crazy, hopeful in love with you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage.
I can’t afford the carriage.
But you look sweet upon the street.
On a bicycle built for two.

How pretty are these large white daisies I manage to captured on a run around Gedling Country Park a few days ago?

Walking through the field felt like stepping into a summer postcard. The warmth of the sun rested softly on my shoulders, and every gentle gust of wind sent waves of movement through the flowers.

It was impossible not to pause and admire the beauty surrounding me.

Nature seemed to be celebrating the season in the simplest and most wonderful way. I love to get out in nature and take some beautiful flower photos.

Do you too?

In the distance, the sound of birdsong drifted across the open space, blending perfectly with the rustle of the daisies.

The world felt slower here, calmer somehow.

There were no rushing crowds, no busy schedules, only sunshine, wildflowers, and the peaceful rhythm of a summer afternoon. I was happy to have this beautiful moment.

I don’t envy you having to work any weekends with our current weather Claire. We have been truly blessed with this weather during lockdown. It would have been so much harder if the weather had been bad. Here’s to getting back to normal soon. Lovely flowers xx

The weather has been amazing hasn’t it Laurie. Yes I agree. It would have been so much harder with depressing weather.
