#makesmeME: Creative Mondays Blog Hop

makesmeME: Creative Mondays Blog Hop

‘Advertorial’

Happy Monday everyone. Hope you had a lovely weekend?

Earlier this week Nectar asked me if I would like to take park in a fun challenge.

The #makesmeME Blogger Challenge. How fun!

About the challenge:

  • Spend 10 minutes collecting 10 items from around your home that best reflect your individuality and what #makesmeME.
  • This could be anything, for example if you like running one of the items could be your favourite trainers. If what makes you you, is your unusual dress sense one of your items could be a favourite item of clothing. Alternatively if you love animals perhaps one of your items could be your pet.

Here goes:

1.) Family : family is the most important thing in my life. I cannot gather them all up for a photo now as my Husband is at work, eldest 2 sons at Uni etc. So I was going to share a picture of a yummy mummy teddy I got for Mothers day, a few years ago.  Then Mollie stepped in to be the family mascot.

2.) Shoes : Ha! I love my shoes. Heels, flats sensible and not so sensible, creative and plain.

3.) Polka dots : I have always been a big fan of polka dots. I would wear them everyday if I could!

4.) Pretty dresses: I love fancy dresses, shame I don’t go out enough to wear them. Hint hint Hubby!!

5.) Tea and biscuits : Eek this is my downfall. I love tea and biscuits, tea and cake, tea and chocolate. Need I go on! I have a sweet tooth..

6.) Lou Lou : I love this perfume : Although I have a few different fragrances, I always have a bottle of Lou Lou. I have wore this perfume since I was 16. Yes a long time! It reminds me of fun times, nights out and being young. I must have gone through plenty of bottles over the years.

7.) Trainers : I have a love hate relationship with running. When its good its very good. When its bad it horrid! It might feel horrid at the minute but I am working on trying to love it again. Need to cut down on the biscuits first!

8.) Blogging : I have blogged nearly everyday for over 5 years. I think I maybe addicted! It makesmeMe!!

9.) Red Lipstick: I love the colour red. Red lipstick always cheers me up and I nearly always wear red when I get dressed up. Another thing that reminds me of my younger days.

10.) Bags : I am not a bag person. Give me a pair of shoes any day! But saying this I love Cath Kidston bags. Throw in a polka dots style, shabby chic print and I cannot resist them.

Awh, Lou Lou, that was my "going out in the 80's" perfume! I loved it, even now if I smell it I feel like I should be getting ready for a night clubbing!! Tea and polka dots too – were we separated at birth???
