Mollie Was At Most Of My Photo Shoots

Mollie Was At Most Of My Photo Shoots. She will always be in my heart.

Hello friends, so how are you today? Happy Way-back Wednesday || Wordless Wednesday || Not So Wordless Wednesday.

So, today I am sharing some sweet photos of my Mollie that today made me smile but also made me cry. I love her so much.

I am throwing it back to a year ago today and sharing some photos from a trip to Rufford Abbey with my husband and Mollie The collie.

The hardest thing when you lose something precious is the constant reminders that keep popping up.

If you didn’t read my last post, The Last Chapter: Mollie The Border Collie I will give you a little update.

Last Monday I lost my dog to cancer and she was only 6 years old.

She had 3 big tumors removed last November and after they did the test, they said there was nothing more they could do when it returned in the same places because of the massive operation before.

Cutting her in the same places might have resulted in bleeding to death so they sent her home until cancer got too bad for her.

We were lucky in one way to have 4 extra months with her but unlucky that it got to bad and we had too make that heart-breaking decision to have her put down.

Anyone who has ever had a dog will know it is the most horrible decision you ever have to make.

Crying Instantly Over A Memory:

So many little things have made me cry this past week.

Like the time I came home from work and her tennis ball was behind the front door.

The time I wash my sofa throw for when Freddie comes over and a clump of her dog hairs together fell out of the washing machine.

Or like today when google sends you a notification of what happened a year ago and you were out taking photos and walking Mollie at the same time.

Mollies photos didn’t always make the blog as I liked to focus on fashion. But they were always on my computer so I can see them anytime.

So here is a few unshared photos from this day in August 2020 on our walk around Rufford Abbey in Nottinghamshire with Mollie that Google reminded me of this morning:

Did you see my Instagram Post? It has been a while since I posted here. The reason for this was, last Monday I lost my fur baby. You can read more on the blog if you want to.

Rip my beautiful fur baby. Love you so much. Only just turned 6. Cancer is so cruel. No more suffering.

Such a sad week where I cried most of it. Trying to focus now on happier things to come.

It is so true that those feelings of grief and sadness can strike out of nowhere over some of the simplest reminders. I know these photos made you cry when they showed up but how wonderful to have so many photos with Mollie in them!
